I have a new arrival! I just received a Rin. They were announced again on Volks the very same day; thankfully I paid a smidge less than retail @__@
Putting them side-by-side, I have to say that Himeka (Moe) feels... stiffer than Yuki (Rin) somehow. I think they've improved DD faces over the years. Yuki is more animated and spritely, somehow.

20251204 Davidson Day School 3rd graders continue the week with holidays around the world during Morning Meeting. This is part of the DDS belonging program. Today’s presentation on Norway's St.Lucia involved a procession with lights and costumes and a song.

20251211 Jennifer Shiley leads a Davidson Day AP Service field trip to Davidson College for a 3-part experience through the With These Hands exhibition.
Lia Newman Director/Curator of the Davidson College Art Galleries began the tour with a discussion of the Hank Willis Thomas ‘We the People’ exhibition at the gallery.
Reverend Daniel Heath, Associate Chaplain and Director of the Davidson Forum, continued with students to the ‘With These Hands’ installation, sharing a history of the school and the story behind the Thomas sculpture.

Dr. Oscar Simpson, DDS, pioneer Dodge City dentist and inventor of the gold inlay process for filling teeth(patent finally won
in 1912), had his old pioneer lawman friend, Joe Sughrue, lay in a box
while a mold was made with plaster. Dr. Simpson filled the mold with
concrete. The statue has been on Boot Hill since 1929.
