Powering up for the first time, there was no smoke, and it spits out a nice sine wave.
The LCD indicates the current memory (0), and frequency (5 MHz). Since this is intended as a radio receiver local oscillator source, the displayed frequency is generally not the same as the actual oscillator frequency -- it's offset by the intermediate frequency used in the receiver (455 kHz in AM broadcast radios, 10.7 MHz in FM, and 11.0532 MHz in the radio this is intended for).
I've set that intermediate frequency offset to zero here, so the displayed frequency is the same as the generated frequency.

20250501 Davidson Day School Class of 2025 Senior Recognition Day included a class photo in college t-shirts, pizza lunch, regalia distribution, senior march through the school lead by the band, and a class photo in regalia in front of the new press box.

I have a new arrival! I just received a Rin. They were announced again on Volks the very same day; thankfully I paid a smidge less than retail @__@
Putting them side-by-side, I have to say that Himeka (Moe) feels... stiffer than Yuki (Rin) somehow. I think they've improved DD faces over the years. Yuki is more animated and spritely, somehow.
