It's been a while since I posted here! Since I started collecting BJDs, I've only ever had two male dolls: Matsuzo (Luts SDelf Bliss) and Linton (Volks Luna). But now I've finally gotten a third boy and I think he's here to stay: DDS Len! I think this is the first boy DD Volks has released. I always loved the vocaloid character drawings of Len, and Volks did a great job of translating images into doll form. Better yet, his outfit is very well thought out. Volks lined all of the clothing so none of the black is directly in contact with the vinyl skin (which is prone to staining). I just adore how cute and cheerful he is, especially with his mini ponytail wig XD I've been calling Hisoka as I don't necessarily like his default name.
As cute as the full-set is... I'm mostly not into traditional Japanese outfits. This, despite the fact that the very first piece of clothing I made for my very first ABJD was a kimono-inspired little robe. It was the simplest, easiest thing at the time, what can I say?
Anyway, Mariko's Festival Set is up for grabs:
Included:
Wig / Yukata / Obi Belt / Waist Cord / Japanese-style Underwear / Adjustment Pad / Drawstring Bag / Zori Footwear / Plushie
Missing:
Hair accessory and panties
Condition: Items were tried on, but they are in good, clean condition.
The white Japanese underwear (sleeveless, under-yukata) could do with a little light ironing, on lower heat.
The wig could do with re-braiding (braids are loose), but is in otherwise good condition.
The plush looks like it hasn't been played with.
Everything else is in like-new condition.
Provenance:
The set came with the Volks DDS Mariko Summer Festival doll I just got from Y!J.
Price: $130USD + shipping
Thank you!
