The largest White House Gingerbread House ever created by former White House Executive Pastry Chef Roland Mesnier will be donated by The White House Historic Association for display at Children’s National. The gingerbread house will be displayed in Children’s Main Atrium for approximately one week beginning Dec. 23. The house is constructed of nearly 450 pounds of pure chocolate, marzipan and gingerbread. The house was created for the Association’s White House in Gingerbread exhibit that explored the tradition of gingerbread at the White House dating back to the Nixon administration.(Photo by Preston Keres/Children's National)

Salzburg Global Seminar, in partnership with nine of the top US law schools, launched in 2012 a one-of-a-kind program for law students interested in international law and public service. Named for presidential adviser and Salzburg Seminar Board Chair Lloyd N. Cutler, the Salzburg Cutler Fellows Program convenes annually 45 students nominated by their law schools with leading judges and practitioners for a highly interactive exploration of public and private international law.

NS 4005 shows eight years of hard work as it brings up the rear of the locomotive consist on train 36A. Painted in a special black, blue, gray paint scheme to commemorate the Juniata Shops first DC traction to AC traction rebuilds; this unit was built as GE Dash 9-40C 8867 and was rebuilt into a AC44C6M in 2016.

DC Class #4473 departs Greymouth station NZ,03/1993

A couple of DC-3s at Opa Locka, Miami, FL, in 2007. These are still in service, ferrying cargo over to the Bahamas & Carribean, mainly.

This DC-4 was built for the USAF as a C-54B-DO s/n 43-17192. It was bought on 7 Dec 1945 by American Airlines and named "Flagship Washington." It was registered as NC90423 and had 4 Pratt & Whitney R-2000 radial engines of 1450 hp each.
