I decided to put out another figbarf when I was feeling bored, and here they are from left to right.
Aquaman-Once again my love for the classics shines through, this Aquaman is based off the classic design or as some of you may say super friends, none the less I like how this one turned out.
Joker-This one is based off Alex Ross art, and Suicide Squad, I painted the green on a black hair piece so the color isn't that bright, the torso is a classic penguin toros.
Tony Zucco-When I was reading through Levi Nyuna's Nightwing series I saw this design for Zucco and thought it looked great, so I translated it into flesh pieces and I thought it was great.
Batman Year One-This classic Batman is a design i showed before but now I'm putting it in a showcase and think it looks better in this lighting.
Jason Todd's Second Suit-I ordered a classic Robin torso for my Tim Drake Robin since that looked more accurate, so I had this torso laying around and It looked more like the Under the Red Hood Robin so I put it on him and I love how it looks.
Firefly-A very simplistic design, i used the back of an old spaceman torso along with a firefly head with the white painted black, I then used the spaceman batman's wings, personally I think this is one of my simplest and favorite designs for a Batman villain.
DC-3 wreck on the black beach at Sólheimasandur. Taking one-hour hike from the carpark, while the Sun was setting. When I got to the plane-wreck, there was no one there and I had the whole place for myself. Great place for long exposure photography and light painting. After about one hour another photographer arrived with his bright light-torch and I call it a night.

I love to take pictures in Washington DC because theres so much to see: flowers, people, buildings, monuments, bridges, dogs, etc.
Croc - is the hood new? (I'm not sure) he's there that's it
Hush - wish I would have a better face for him, but it works
Joker - yeah he looks great right? Catwoman arms, trenchcoat and the Weasley suit
Scarface - pff not perfect yet
They came from Canada, specifically from Rondeau Provincial Park, a peninsula in Morpeth, Ontario, that juts like a uvula into Lake Erie.
The first batch of black squirrels — eight in number — was sent to the National Zoo in 1902 by Thomas W. Gibson, Ontario’s superintendent for parks
Either modded/stole most of these designs/combos from Mr.c, so make sure to check out his page. Also wanted to make some more figs using the new DC CMF parts.
L-R:
Giganta: Use of the Cheetah parts goes to HMD_BrickCustoms
Cyborg Superman: Basically stolen entirely from Mr.c
Metamorpho: Armor idea also from Mr.c
That’s it for now fellas
L-R: Jerome valeska( tried to have the sinister laugh and the scar expression didn’t rlly work out too well), owl man, crazy quilt( more modern look)
Just a few updated combos with some new parts.
Ragdoll: new head
Freeze: new head
Hal Jordan: new jacket, overall new design (I've been wanting to use that hair)
Red Robin: I don't think I've seen anyone use this exact head/helmet combo to get his classic look
Wildcat: Still trying to do him justice, new headpiece and torso
Sorry for the absence! But I’m back now and with a huge showcase of figures, as I was getting bored of doing three figure shots :P Anyway I played the Lego DC Super villains game over the summer and loved it! I’m got some inspiration from there, although the designs aren’t really based off of those from the game
Bottom row:
Ivy: Arkham Games version
Harley: My own take, simple but nice
Joker: Based off of the 1989 Joker and just past Jokers. Like these legs on him :)
Scarecrow: Upgraded 2013 fig
Riddler: Batman Forever based, with my own twist
Middle row:
Reverse Flash: Based off the CW version, with Red Skulls legs and custom painted arms
Azrael: Custom cape, the head is Voldemorts with only the eyes which looks dope!
Black Adam: Nothing special. He has the TLNM Cole legs though it’s hard to see
Penguin: also ‘89 based, but again, with my own tweaks
Top row:
Ragdoll: Looks good, wanted to use this head
Killer Frost: The official fig, with cmf cyborg legs and hair
Hugo Strange: With the classic Doc Ock head he’d look pretty perfect
Please do let me know what you think! Let me know if I should do more showcases like these in the future too :)
Here is DC Figs 195
L-R
Ted Kord Blue Beetle: I took this guy apart due to my purchase of a royal customs Blue Beetle. I never got the item...so I brought back a purist go at good old Ted.
Yellow Lantern Scarecrow: I’ve been wanting to make him for a while, finally got around to it
Arkham Knight: Nothing too special, had this idea since images of CMF 19 first surfaced
Perry White: I really like how he turned out. Too bad there aren’t gray streaks in the hair but oh well
"Duchess of DC"
A truly spectacular sight to see in Washington D.C. 'Duchess' as she is fondly known is a Snowy owl that has taken up a recent winter residence in front of Union Square Station. Dining on local rats, she has become a celebrity and well publisized.
I'd venture to say she's had thousand(s) of visitors since her arrival and I waited until the flurry of birders and photographers eased away. Hoping she would stay, I finally ventured down with a friend and waited for her nightly appearance.
Just seeing her swoop in, this silent and bright white creature coming in from the night and landing on a flag pole was worth the visit to experience.
I captured these with my Canon 500mm f/4 with 1.4x extender. Using the Canon 5DSR at the insane ISO level of 12,800 at f/5.6 and 1/10 of a second. Topaz DeNoise did a beautiful job cleaning up the digital noise.
...... along the Tidal Basin.
The Japanese Yoshino cherry trees around the Tidal Basin provide a stunning display when they bloom in late March/early April.

Green arrow- I was gonna mix his parts with my custom green arrow, but I liked this fig more than I thought I would so I’ll just have 2 Ollie’s, gave this one a brick forge arrow btw
Black canary- got her a better head, I’ll probably add more to her
Captain boomerang- just the tlbm fig with a scarf
Captain boomerang jr- just using the pieces on my old boomerang custom
Jason Todd- had the parts lying around so why not
Booster gold- got him some much better hair
DC Figs #49
From L to R
Clock King: My attempt at a purist classic version of him.
Red Hood: Based off the Arkham Knight version. I drew the logo on free hand and smudged it up to make it look like he painted it on his armour.
Azreal: I gave him the Jim Gordon arms which I think look pretty cool for him and some Nijago legs.
Electrocutioner: My own version of him
What do you think?
The Franciscan Monastery in Northeast Washington DC has existed for over 100 years and the beautiful gardens and famous grottos have been in place for over 80 years. This shot was taken from one of the porticos that form the perimeter of the main courtyard.
Several more photos from the monastery are here: flic.kr/s/aHskbkrDzR
