Morning Boat - composite of boat drifting in the fog. This is a picture I've been wanting to create and finally was able to work on it.

My times in Cayman Islands I witnessed very slow, soft colored Sunsets. Any nightlife that I enjoyed while there never began until the Sun was totally out of sight. Sunsets there were always beautiful and different every time I witnessed one. “Daylight Leaves Us.” It’s such a grand way to say goodbye to the day and welcome to the evening. Spending the last hour or so of daylight watching the sun set with your main squeeze waist deep in the warm water of the Caribbean Sea is a great way to welcome the evening. Good music easy dining and a cocktail or two was always good enough for me. Thanks for viewing my work. NECR 610 heads south over Horton Cove with a couple blue and golds leading. With Freeport in Norwich no longer taking cars, it was a straight shot to New London along the Thames River after working C.C. Lounsbury in South Windham. With this week being the longest days of the year, it was still daylight by the time they rumbled across the Horton Cove trestle in Montville, with the 3845 and 3857.

A short trip to Vancouver and a few treasures are nabbed in broad daylight. This of course brings up the question of light it self. Is there good and bad light for photography? Instead, I would contend that if you think you are shooting in bad light, then perhaps you are shooting the wrong thing.
This landscape shot would not illicit the strong shadows and differing colors given those parcelled at sunset. Rather, choose your subject given the lighting conditions and find the gems that exist all around us.
