STAY, O sweet and do not rise!
The light that shines comes from thine eyes;
The day breaks not: it is my heart,
Because that you and I must part.
Stay! or else my joys will die
And perish in their infancy.
John Donne (1572-1631)
Texture: Lenabem Anna, thank you.
Looking west at Mt. Athabasca's north glacier with the cloudy skies above glowing from the first rays of a new day.
Mount Athabasca, rises more than 5,000 feet above the Icefields Parkway, to its summit at 11,453 ft (3,491 m). This peak is in the midst of the Columbia Icefield, the largest expanse of ice in the Canadian Rockies. Mt. Athabasca straddles a triple continental divide, with water from its slopes flowing west towards the Pacific Ocean, east towards Hudson's Bay, and north towards the Arctic Ocean.
Have a wonderful week!

Looking across one of the three Vermilion Lakes at the first colors of the day appearing on the horizon. Mt. Rundle and Sulphur Mountain rise majestically above the lake.
The lakes are located between the Trans-Canada Highway at the foot of Mt. Norquay and the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks. The lakes are 1.5 miles (2.4 km) from the town of Banff. A must visit when at Banff.
Enjoy a wonderful Sunday and week ahead!
