How can we live without them. Even if you're decaffeinated, the bean holds you in their magical embrace. Hoping for some sun and warmth and the opportunity to shoot outside this weekend.

38 of 365 Drops - I received a lovely bunch of flowers from hubby :-) but this flower head fell on to the cooker while I was arranging them in the vase - it looked very pretty against the black cooker hob - got my image for today :-)

The hardwood floors in our house were gorgeous until Molly moved in. This is near the front window where she runs to see what's happening out front. Then because she's a lab she gets excited about EVERYTHING and scrambles around trying to get someone's attention. It seems pointless to try to do anything to fix the floors because she still does this at 8 years old. I don't think she's going to grow out of it...or grow up for that matter.

Really scraping the bottom of the barrel with this shot! This is the underside of my takkies aka trainers aka sneakers. At least you learnt a new word with this photos - takkies is the South African name for trainers/sneakers.
If this church isn't one of the most photographed sights in Macon, I'd like to know why not.
38/365: 7 February 2014
I love coffee, and go to great length to make the best cup of joe possible at home, from freshly ground beans, to having just the exact amount of water at the exact temperature (195-205F) all crafted in a french press. The next best thing when out of home, is the McDonald's americano. Made with freshly ground beans and mixed with the just the right amount of perfectly hot water at a great price.

My trusty old Mission 761 speakers (or monitors, for you audiophiles out there) can still rock with the best of them, despite being 25 years old.
Vibration credits go to Adele, who was rolling in the deep at the time of shooting.

Pisa it is raining today.
I wait the rain to stop, because I have to go to change my Nikon infrared remote control.
I bought it yesterday, but it doesn't work. :(
Damn!
Meanwhile I listen IAMX
It's the first time that I listen to it.
I like it!
I got a pedicure yesterday. I do it only once every two years or so because I'm afraid of the toenail fungus that some folks may be leaving behind in that little foot bathtub. I had to ask her to avoid my giant scab (it's not as big now) from my ski boots. I felt like an idiot. "Hi, will you touch my feet but avoid my SCAB??" How gross.
day thirty eight!
sorry for another eye picture. kinda uninspired today. i thought i'd do a football-esque picture cause of the superbowl? kinda just looks like war paint though. oh well! GO SAINTS.Cheyeah Saints!!
A rainy day 38 with 38 mm focal length. Industar 95 2.8/38 at f/2.8. Lens was removed from Elicon 35C rangefinder. Plastic fantastic camera and lens.
All hail Tempest! This is a photo taken at my first band ever's first practice (of a total of three, I believe). That guitar, a red Memphis, was a piece of junk but I wish I could get it back - I sold it less than 6 months after this to a guy who actually would be come a member of my second (and to date most successful) band to buy an Ibanez I still have and treasure to this day, more than 20 years later. Oh, and the guy in the front holding an acoustic? He's still one of my best friends....we've been best men in each others weddings, welcomed children to each others families, and spent many a night sharing beers in dive bars. One of my favorite photos.
Shot on iPhone 6.
No real photo time today. Shot this of walkers going up the Story Bridge as Gizmo and I were walking across it.
Done and dusted. Moving on.
Reading this again the title made me think of zombies in The Walking Dead. As far as I know, none of the people featuring in this photo are zombies - although I couldn't be definitive on that.
Day 38: Saw some dying tulips on the window with the light going through their petals and wanted to capture their tissue paper softness.
February 7th 2011
(also day 346/365 of the 365 project I started in February 2010)
From 2kg of unprepared quince we made 7 and a bit jars of jam. It tastes good and we're pretty happy with our first attempt at making jam. It's a bit tangy but not too much, I think the 2kg of sugar probably takes the edge off.
A different perspective of a jump. It's funny how perspective works, this just looks like I jumped high as hell (no I don't smoke pot so I'm not high), but really, I'm like right there off the ground, I just jumped off a chair. Also, I'm actually moving from the bottom to the top of the picture rather than from left to right.
