Took advantage of our weather, the family and I went for a hike along "The Cliffs".

Textures? Yea ... Normally I'm not into the the dirty photo look, but I've been favoring a few textured images here on Flickr, and diving deep into UI patterns in my design work. So, I have had eyes for it lately, and I really wanted to try it on this simple tulip.
Thoughts? It's so subjective, I know...

No clouds over my house yesterday but there sure was this morning! This is looking down the canal from my back yard! I add some saturation to enhance the colors in the sky!

If you plan on doing some synchronized skiing, then it might not be a good idea to bring the dog!
As I am getting used to my DSLR..anything and everything right now is fascinating:) I struggled a little get th eright exposure using a tungsten lamp and also adjusting the ISO and other settings on the cam.

Our adventure along the Great Ocean Road continued today. This morning we dashed up to Lorne so Anna could swim laps in, what she assured us, was the coldest pool ever. From the words she mouthed as she waved at one of the ends, I'm happy to accept her verdict on the temperature. Meanwhile, Meg and I had pancakes and a walk on the beach. Everyone was happy with that start to the day.
This, incidentally, is Meg boldly going forward to test how cold the water was - her verdict was that the ocean was colder than Anna's lap pool

As day one but now in the snow, think I prefer it with a blue sky, however not a lot of those at the mo' , in fact more snow on the way, luckily we are off to warmer climates, flights permitting, fingers crossed!

最近有跟單位搭伙
發現中午一定離不開一道料理
就是跟魚有關的料理
已經吃過
紅糟魚、炸魚、清蒸魚、水煮魚
滿滿的魚
以及各種烹調方式
看來這裡四面環海
果然到處都能吃魚
放假的時候
如果
有時間的話應該要去嘗嘗這裡幾道有名的海鮮料理。
