Shot on iPhone 6.

Our family road trip continues - today we arrived in Canberra. The girls dropped me at this spot for a run while they hit the shops. Win win. This is the view while I was waiting for my GPS watch to get a signal. I love running around this lake - so much to look at to distract yourself.

That flag pole between the two bridges is Parliament House while that's the National Library on the left.

When you stop so much to take photos you can't do the walk you planned because bad weather hit...

For my ongoing bird-a-day project for 2017. Thanks all!

Just playing with some ice cream before I devoured it! Today was just one of those days where I needed a treat that had a cherry on top! ;o)

Fun is a state of mind. If you have a zest for life, you will never miss out on fun. Don't be uptight all the time. Drop your worries and just learn to chill-out. Have fun (like having really fun in Flickr), be crazy, be weird today!! (as long as within limits and won't hurt anyone) :-)

Have a good one dear friends!!

That strange white light on the waves is a result of the massive spotlights on the beach which are pointed outwards lighting up the water (just in case you were wondering!)

Today (Tuesday) I felt uninspired. When that happens sometimes I go into the bathroom. I like the Bathroom because it closes out the world it's just you and your thoughts. I may talk to the Lord or to myself (see my post from Day 52) and get an idea. I tried that today…….nothing, nothing today. I once mentioned that I'll do a selfy when I can't do anything else, so this is me waiting for inspiration that never came. Day174/365 #365project - Waiting for inspiration

Day 174 - on and on

Something a bit different today. Except for the frostbite afterwards this one was fun to shoot and I think it turned out quite nice.

This was also the first eve shooting that I actually was approached by the police asking what I was doing... well what was I expecting standing in the middle of the road for a couple of minutes ;o)

Hadn't taken a flower shot recently, so took some today.... okay.. you got me, couldn't really think of anything else due to the rain.. and the clouds..

But, I didn't mind the rain 'coz my grass will look much greener and the plants will be much healthier too.. :-)

20190623_7537_7D2-24 New Brighton Beach (174/365)

It was a quiet Sunday afternoon and I had finished my work in the vegetable garden (build a third large compost bin), so I grabbed the camera and wandered down to see if anything was happening on the beach on a cold (8°C) but sunny winter afternoon.

Looking south east towards Banks Peninsula. Note the cloud bank on the horizon.

Didn't mean to get up at 4:30 a.m., but while I was up I took a look at the string of planets, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. Mercury was too low from here.

The famous Pink Diamond just went on display, so my pair of intrepid Greyhound reporters went off to get the scoop. Good thing Bunny can write and Flattery can take pictures! They make a pretty good team.

A tenuous link tonight I think...I don't really do patterns and prefer most things plain, yet if you look close enough you can see patterns in most things like this lovely little flower growing on the bush in the front garden. As usual I have no idea what it is and a macro shot from above gave the little buds some pretty patterned bokeh goodness....I'm off to clean....urggghhhh !!

Not my personal favorite. Otherwise I would've been a lot slimmer. Come to think of it, I need to switch from the beer.

I am two days behind, but I plan to make it up. The renovation has been keeping me too busy, and I want to avoid uploading snapshots, if possible.

June 23rd. Looking forward to this week of macros. But I'm going to try to avoid flowers (honest). I've spent today tidying my son's room and found the sheep's skull and thought -ah ha! I don't have a macro lens but do have a x10 filter. I couldn't decide so I have put my other in comments. I liked the colour in this.
