I’m not sure how many of you still remember my 25 Days of Christmas, but I wanted to make an effort this year to create this album. It means a lot to me to do this. This year has been filled with many health challenges, and it felt right to do something I love as a way to end the year and cultivate a grateful heart. While this may not be the most beautiful image, it feels fitting. After a tough couple of weeks, we managed to add this small set of Christmas lights to our porch, and despite all the lows we've experienced, these little lights shone brightly through the snowstorm we had a few days ago. They felt like a guiding light. And this will kick off my season. Let your light shine, even in the darkness!

When it is water theme week and we have warm weather and a child happy to have a cup of water thrown onto him then this is the obvious result!

Day 125 - 365/2023 - A Never-Ending Journey

Day #10 post surgery. Progressing and still weak, but

preparing a healthy and delicious meal is something I really enjoy doing and I finally had enough energy to fix tonight's dinner.

Plated above is seared Ahi Tuna, marinated in fresh lemon juice, Jalapeño Olive Oil and Cayenne Pepper, with a side of microwave potato and a garden salad. Start to served : 30 minutes.

day 125...

Really tired today, I went to the Pearl Jam concert last night, got pulled over on the way home, but just got a warning, which is unusual luck for me lol. I need coffee!!

Stars and Stripes Forever.

A cold, gray, dreary rain filled day dampened my plans to go for a spring hike while waiting for my daughter to finish up at dance. That all changed when a mural on a building I was passing caught my eye.

The Marquis theatre in Northville, Michigan has a very large American flag painted on it's rear. The refraction of the mural on the rainy windows of my car gave me an idea and I spent 20 minutes shooting off many frames of different water droplets. It was hard to choose one, but I think this one captured a lot of the different angles of the flag.

These drinks will go good with this.

Have a fabulous Sunday dear friends! Everyone could use a drink, alcoholic or non :) Cheers!! ~

I'm not sure what kind of architecture it is but I really love the three-story homes.

Whenever my wife and I travel, we walk the neighborhoods of our destination, looking at the homes and the different designs of each.

Day 125 2015

a quick snap before leaving for Manchester to visit the kids will catch up tomorrow afternoon.

As I had nothing for the 365 tonight I thought why not try a lightning that I had been thinking about.

There are TOO MANY PEOPLE in my house! I was making breakfast for everyone this morning and then suddenly they all poured in doing their own things, getting in my way and talking and yelling and all being far too there and noisy for so early in the morning. So did what I had to and then retreated to the quietest, safest place I know!

I'm channeling my inner Rodney (g'day!) and using my phone to take a shadow shot. I'm a day late for the theme. Uh, yeah. Sorry about that.
