Getting back to...well, some kind of routine. Making the effort to keep my practices up. Still exhausted though...for a list of reasons with which I'll not bore you.
I want to nest...to be quiet...to get comfortable... It's not going to be until next week that I can truly find some sense of normalcy again (um, yeah, it's all relative). So, I take my opportunities as they arise.
How much we trust another person is really a function of how much we trust ourselves to be strong enough to deal with their imperfections! - Phil McGraw
Driving around in the back country of Indiana with my Dad in his Viper. Yes I mirrored this, I'm anal and wanted Canon facing the right way!
When Bonnie first joined our family, she claimed this spot on top of a basket and underneath an end table as her sleeping place. It’s next to the couch, and there is a basket on one side and a plant on the other, so it makes an effective hiding place from the other 5 cats in the house. As an extra bonus, it’s right next to my “spot” on the sofa, so she’s right next to me and I can reach down and pet her. She’s a sweet little thing, when she’s not growling at her brothers, and she loves to sit on top of my arm when I’m trying to type on my iPad.
Bonnie is a rescue. She was starving and living in a drain tube when my husband found her. She had borderline pnuemonia and several other problems. She’s healthy now, and I’m so glad we found her.

my office wear usually comprises of simple blouses and skirts, and I am fond of using a variety of scarves to jazz up an otherwise plain ensemble.
There is only one problem with this, I've a pretty short neck so sometimes with a scarf, I appear to not have a neck.
A Dance of Fall ...
September dawns and summer's heat relents,
Beneath the vivid hues of Autumn's best.
I sit beside the window, quite content to witness season's change;
Her magic quest.
The leaves are freshly fallen-whisked and drawn,
Some rise to pirouette a dance on air.
So swiftly twirling, whirling 'bout the lawn,
Like pixies blowing kisses, light and fair.
Then something swirls around;
To my surprise enchanting me with every soaring spin.
Its graceful diving glides so mesmerize,
And stirs euphoric pleasures deep within.
I watch a plastic shopping bag in flight,
Amazed that such a sight can bring delight.

2 days before festival, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring.... thats because of keeping ontop of tech sheets for 2 upcoming Fringe shows. Michael came over, and I was running out of time, energy and ideas. Being a gun nut, I thought I would put 2 and 2 together and get 7. The output of which is this horribly over processed gem which I thought would be interesting to turn into a movie poster!

Idk the title of the song but the lyrics go like slide to left, slide to the right, clap, clap, clap, clap...something like that...

On day five of my trip, the buggy returns home.
After a symptom-free day at Volvo of Savannah, the car was handed back to me with some shoulder shrugs and helpful advice. Suspecting the fuel pumps or relay and equipped with a spare fuel pump relay, a hammer to bang on said fuel pump if needed, and the suggestion to maintain a nearly full gas tank, we embarked on the 250-mile return trip which turned out to be uneventful. The car ran as smooth as silk but it was a little unsettling knowing that it could stop again at any moment.
Here we are at about the halfway point in Washington County near Sandersville.

Wait, oh yes wait a minute mister postman
Wait, wait mister postman
Mister postman look and see
You got a letter in your bag for me
I been waiting such a long time
Since I heard from that girl of mine
There must be some word today
From my girlfriend so far away
Please mister postman look and see
If there's a letter, a letter for me
I been standing here waiting mister postman
So patiently
For just a card or just a letter
Saying she's returning home to me
So many days you passed me by
See the tear standing in my eye
You didn't stop to make me feel better
By leaving me a card or a letter
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute
You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute
You gotta check it and see, one more time for me
Wait
Wait
Wait
Deliver the letter, the sooner the better
Wait

Project 365: day 118
Day 118:
Today was a friend/co-workers birthday.
Lindsay turned 21 today, which means she’s 100% legal.
Now we all don’t just have to go between The Ocho and
another friends house. Everyone can go out to any bar
and club we want (well... almost anyplace.) to.
The gummies helped celebrate with the rest of the office.
Although they won’t be celebrating like 21 year olds do.
They are light-weights and just the smell of alcohol gets
them buzzed.
OOPS! I made a goof in the eyelet pattern in the shawl I'm knitting.
Here's hoping that no one will notice it in the finished product - ripping back is far too much work.

What can I say? I went to see Tha Adams Family Musical on Sunday and this t-shirt just spoke to me. And in the time-warpy fashion that I am posting my photos atm (ie 1 week late) I can tell you that I've spent the better part of this week wearing it around.
P.S photo was taken on my knees just before the curtain went up... therefore according to my definition its a self portrait

[Day 118/365]
Had a long day today so I'll be catching up with you all soon after relaxation. BTW, you all should watch Kung Fu Panda 2. It's pretty good movie ^_^
My day today was spent waiting in line for the Jason Mraz concert. Jane is a huge Jason Mraz fan (As am I) so we decided to wait in line all day for the show! It turned out to be an amazing day and a life-changing concert. The tour bus provided a silly reflection for us to take our picture in.

Day 118 of 365 (Year Three)
One of my Take A Class With Dave and Dave assignments for this week was Treasure Hunt. We were given words and had to take shots based on those words. One of the words was Quench. For some reason this popped into my head and I yet again subjected myself to water splashes. Kathy was more than happy to participate, just like she was the last time. You can see the video from the first time here.
Ha, look at his tail between his legs! He's so embarrassed. But the towel-dry is his favorite part.

April 28, 118/365 (1214/1461)- This is a door from the main buiilding at school leading to the walkway over to my building. Someone obviously hit it with soccer ball or their foot or something.
Unlike much of the SouthEast, this is not weather related. We were spared along the Gulf Coast except for some rain early this morning. Our thoughts and prayers are certainly with all those north of us that were hit so hard last night. The destruction is beyond imagination . . .
