I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's home to me and I walk alone
I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Where the city sleeps
and I'm the only one and I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'Til then I walk alone
explored #220. thanks
well i do love music so i guess my fortune inside the cookie must be true. i wonder how lucky the numbers are?
have a zillion things to do this evening so won't get by to visit too many here in flickrverse but rest assured I will try to catch up.
I didn’t get a picture of my Easter duck last week because the daffodils started blooming, so here he is enjoying the flowers. He’s relaxing after a busy weekend.

We spent a nice afternoon with a trip to wrap up our daughter’s first year of university in Halifax.
It would have been my mum's birthday today, so I bought some flowers to mark the occasion for my project 365!
I think she would have loved them! :)

April 22nd. As of yesterday, for the 'natural lighting' week, Cornwall has returned to the default weather position of dull, grey, wet and misty. When I got in, I persuaded these 2 (#1 and #3) to sit in our window, to make the most of the daylight. They look so loving and peaceful here but it was generally very silly. These two often fight so it was nice to get them together like this.

Since today is Earth Day, Flattery decided to pitch in and do her part by doing a little recycling. She says it's not bad when you get toys back that are made from recycled bottles. Trust me, she's got her eye on the planet and it's not getting out of her sight!
You can read more about Flattery at TalesAndTails.com.

Day 112
I Love Earth [112/365] - We hugged a tree for Earth Day! Did you? My friend Joel and I often go for random walks through forests clutching our cameras and find ourselves lost amongst the trees. What better day to do so than Earth Day? We found a really cool area of town that we'd never realized existed. You'd never know that you were still in the city. The only downside...It was soooo cold out, even snowed yet again... yuck! I had many layers of clothing in an attempt to stay warm.
If you watch the Discovery Channel, I'm sure you've heard this song... I love it and I find it very fitting for today!
I Love the Planet.
I Love the clear blue skies.
I Love big bridges, I Love when Great Whites fly.
I Love the whole world, and all its craziness...
Boom-de-ah-da, boom-de-ah-da
Boom-de-ah-da, boom-de-ah-da
Happy Earth Day! :)

Bunny is such a sweet mix of so many things. She's a nature girl and a glamour girl. She's a sweetheart and a princess. She's sincere and also funny. Something about this picture really seems to capture a lot of her personality when I look at it.
Bumped into this crowd as I arrived in London this morning. I just had to ask what it was all about and they refused to tell me, simply providing a business card with a web address. It's an advertising gimmick for the new Peugeot 306 cabriolet, see www.nudeinascarf.com
.
Naturally they were only too pleased to let me take their photo. You have to be an extrovert or inordinately proud of your body (or very well paid) to parade London in nothing but a scarf and a skin-coloured bodysuit!
The devil told you that! shrieked the little dog. Spinning straws into gold...

A double in the veins !!!
Had this idea since a long time.. Just needed time and sunlight :D
Aquaman: Founding member of the Justice League of America, defender of Earth's oceans, and ruler of Atlantis with super-strength, a prosthetic harpoon hand, and the ability to communicate with sea creatures.
Poison Ivy: Foe of Batman obsessed with botany and a dedicated defender of Earth's plant life with the ability to control plants, to seduce people with pheromones, and to kill with a deadly toxin touch.
If they had to fight, who would win?
#112 in the Duel 365 series.
Had this idea for a while so decided to go for it.
Strobist:
Speedlite 430EX II 1/1 24mm left below camera pointed at ceiling for bounce.
Nothing to say really. I took a million of these, bending my back as far as I could and man, my back hurt after.
I also saw Alice in Wonderland. Was ok.
Anyway I feel pretty ill so I’m going to bed to watch some Smoking Room and fall asleep. Goodnight.
April 22, 2015: 112/365 (2669/2992)- In honor of Earth Day we thought we would get one of my classes to pose so I could make our own little small planet. When I was a senior in high school the first Earth Day to be observed in Washington, DC, was 1971 when we lived up there. Several of my friends and I skipped school to go downtown to see what this weird little event was all about, don’t remember who the musical group that really drew the crowd. Now more than 40 years later it has become the largest secular celebration on the entire planet!
I had this crazy dream last night... I was sitting in my car near the gas station and there was a robbery going on. Some bad guy tried to kill the owner of that gas station. After few minutes the bad guy noticed me, came closer and... gave me a lemon cheesecake :? anyway... I drove away from there and on the street there were only police cars but each of the car looked like a huge lemon with the wheels and they were going so fast I had to be really quick to not to get hit... anyway... that is why my today shot is lemonish ;) Hope you enjoy it and oh! I thought that might be a good idea to remind you all to eat a lot of fruits with vitamin C hehe :D Stay healthy!

Day 112/365
I've been wanting to do a moving subway shot for a while and finally got around to it. I stayed on the train longer than I needed to so I could try different shutter speeds and other setting in different stations. I like this one best -- and it is the most colourful of the stations I went through. I was in the last car of the train, so this is pulling out of St. George subway station.

Great shoot for Day112. Model was beautiful and engaging and it is one of the Posh Underground standby secret locations. The lighting this location offers is just amazing. I have only found one place better that was in downtown San Diego. But that place is an even better kept secret!
Day 112.
I know that you know this shot is staged, but I am eating that moussaka and drinking the wine and it's good!
Some days feel particularly long - today was no exception in a long week - thank goodness it's Friday tomorrow.
This supper feels like a nice treat and I might have a second glass of wine in a bit.
Hope everyone's having a good day.
Day 112 2015
Nomada bee.
Nomad bees are very wasp-like in appearance. The abdomen is almost hairless and the wings have a red-brown tinge.
Nomad bees lay their eggs in the nests of other bee species, especially Andrena sp. This particular type of insect is known as a 'cleptoparasite', because it obtains nourishment from the body of the Andrena eggs, and it also steals the Andrena larvae food supply. There are about 30 species in the UK.
