Macro Monday theme - it's all about the shadow
I have a weakness for overbuying spiral notebooks. They have always been something I stock up on at back to school shopping time when they are on sale 10 for $1 or less. We have them around the house with various ongoing to-do and shopping lists, menus, art projects, phone messages, etc. I also use one to record ideas for my photo bucket list.
Day 103/365: 2015
The weekly theme is to describe myself.
I am a vegetarian so thought a photo of this lovely red pepper would be perfect to depict that. Also I don't have a lot of time this week and I find low key, still life relatively easy to do.
May be late with catching up with everyone's pics as it's a busy week.
I used to think this was the plainest bird ever, but now I appreciate their subtle coloring and bright rufous undertail coverts. They are a common towhee in the southwestern states.

This was suggested to me awhile ago. I finally got around to figuring out how I would go about doing it.

Heading home in the 5'oclock traffic on Main Street, Willimantic.
The looming frog silhouettes, right of center, are sitting on huge spools at the beginning of the Frog Bridge.
I got that hat for christmas and have been wanting to use it for a while. I really hate that I haven't uploaded anything lately! 9_9 But, I made a point of it today. :)

yup. I've had a shit day, and I've got a shit 365 to go with it. I really don't want to uplaoad this and I really hate it. But if I don't I won't have a 365 for today. Sorry its really bad (my t-shirt is fucking cooler than this picture - its Red Riding Hood with the dead wolf as head gear and a gun in her basket.). But its bin a shit shit day *insert thumbs up here* fingers crossed tomorrow is better yea
I was planning a night shot for day 103 but while I was cooking supper I saw sea fog moving up the valley in a rolling mass of thick low cloud. Change of plans then, fog being the photographers friend... and the Thai green curry survived 10 minutes alone.
