Bunny is ready for adventure and whatever comes her way. And who knew you could press that little button and have the window come down? She'll be having me drive her through every drive through window in town now!
You can read more about Bunny at TalesAndTails.com.
Black-chinned hummingbirds nest in the Davis Mountains of West Texas. Female hummingbirds do all the work. They make the nest, incubate the eggs and rear the young. The males do NOTHING except mate. This female must be working on a nest since she has nesting material... maybe feathers?
I need a vacation; little normally non big things are putting me over the edge. Like waking up late because our power went off last night [resetting all of our alarms] then ending up being unexcused from first hour, because I over slept - not my fault! :|
Stayed home for the most part to rest and stay safe again. I decided to put more of my 4x6 prints on the last parts of my wall. Got a call from Mitch and K.J and decided to chill for a bit before they headed out. The weather was supposed to rain so I didn't bring my camera, big mistake. The clouds were amazing and I failed to bring my camera, but instead I used my camera phone and took Instagram photos as alternative so not much was lost. Later that night, I decided to take some clouds and stars. Got some great news and I hope it goes through well. I'll keep you guys and gals updated. P.S Happy Birthday Mike.

Tiger has discovered us and comes across the road when he see's us coming home. Luckily i live in a reasonably quiet street, but I still worry he may get hit by a car:-(
The owner also has two very friendly dogs and just doesn't give a stuff that they run out on the road or cross back and forth all the time.HONESTLY!!!
FYI - Tiger is a very friendly Tomcat:-)
My Project365 Photo, DAY 102, 6th Aug 07
For Day 102 and TRF. That's it.
Today's Random Fact: If anyone ever asks you if 100 Peeps will fit in a grocery sack comfortably, the answer is yes.
Copping out on a real shot today. Sorry all. Migraine setting in.
Plus, I'm realizing that spending much time on a photo on a Friday-Sunday is a freakin waste on here. iPhone shots on those days for me from here on out.
It is Sunday morning and in my house that means a big family breakfast. Today the menu is eggs, bacon, pancakes, sliced oranges and broccoli which I know is unconventional for breakfast but it is time to hit the store.
Not just a game, apparently. Though even having been there, I'm still not entirely confident I could describe it as a 'real place' either.

Two days of doing work in my mess of a yard (small, but fiesty!) and I'm an aching mess. I always over-do it.
Good news is, the yard looks a hell of a lot better. ;-)

The elusive Grey Warbler. not that they are rare, just very hard to photograph. Always in bush and never still for very long.

Driving around today and taking pictures and this is the best of many many shots....just a little too grey and misty today for any really good ones.

I had a hard time deciding which photos to copycat - way too many many kickass shots by both by Jen and Sarah. And like I've mentioned elsewhere, I would never have started 365 if it wasn't for them. So here's my day102 of my 365: One of Jen's b/w's - since she is the queen of bw selfies - Day 124
And Sarah's shots are always so colorful and fantastic - her processing is amazing so I didn't even try to attempt on of those shots and chose one of her SOOC ones Day 289, which is quite painful for me to post - not exactly flattering! (Oh and I had to leave the wrapper on because my lolly was broken!!)
Anyhoo, congrats again to the ladies for a fabulous year. xoxoxo

Today I made it out just to take my picture, couldn't take another one inside :) It sure did cool off and get windy! I guess spring is still hibernating somewhere.

#day102 #102of365 I haven't been out for a dawn walk for a while, so the alarm went of at 04:45 and I was out about 40 minutes later. I took my usual route, out along the river path and up towards the North Downs Way through Starkey Castle and Ivy Cottage. It was bitterly cold; but the sunlight was gorgeous. It didn't last, though - a cloud cover descended and it didn't warm up so I didn't go much further.
When I left the bank earlier, the traffic in my lane was backed up a bit. I was in front of this store. I thought it was fairly interesting that they have a side entrance but no front entrance. Right after I snapped this, I came home.

I was to busy yesterday but the assignment was interesting so I gave it a try today during my lunch break!
The Daily Shoot assignment for 2010/04/11 was: Birds are beautiful and rewarding to photograph. Challenge yourself by making a photo of a bird today!

"Kindness of Strangers" by Courtney Marie Andrews
Kindness has many unique features, which make it one of the best things to give. It is free. It doesn't have a "use by date", and its memories will forever live. Kindness can also be shared with anyone and everyone without trouble. From friends and family members. To strangers and unknown people.
It was late and I hadn't taken my photo of the day, so I walked into a shop and asked if I could take a photo. This young man said 'Sure'. There were no expectations for me to buy anything nor did he ask what I was going to do with the photo.
So 'thank you' for your kindness.
