Traversing the Pontcysyllte aqueduct,she is a day hire narrowboat...on a much smaller scale than conventional "live-aboard" narrowboats.
Hiring one of these is a way to learn how to navigate our canal system...especially narrow features like locks and aqueducts,before taking a full length boat on.
From this viewpoint,you can get a sense of scale,with the football pitch 128ft below this "Stream in the sky".

Note: this little lives in our back yard in and around our Roman well. I am happy that I finally got a photo of him. He's eyeing a slug next to him.
The sun was going down.
These are my beavers. They also came with a friend. He's a sylvanian family and they are calico critters, but they still get along fine! They better get home before they're ma and pa find out. Well..the story says so at least!
Today we played Gutair Hero all class. Very fun. Long day. :-D

Double snowdrops really are beautiful inside, and I hope I've done this one justice. I'm not entirely happy with this image as it is, because it hasn't survived the transition from RAW to JPEG very well and has deteriorated in quality.
And yes, I know I've gone for positioning the flower on the right, which I said I was trying not to do, but I think it works for this flower! :)
