Another day at the Marina. I just realized, while I was processing this, that this boat belongs to the University of Texas. Now I'm wondering what they do with it.

When I was out wandering the sims, I came upon this one where I was able to quietly reflect about my life and my children
Thank you Mom for all you are and all you have sacrificed for your children. I am a proud mom and happy to watch my two children blossom into young adults. And I hope they dance and keep dancing ☺♥

Just when it seemed like spring was very close, Mother Nature had other plans and, suddenly, the world was transformed to a snowy wonderland. Even though this snow was unwelcome, I still couldn't help but be thrilled as the snowflakes blanketed my backyard in silent white.

Today is Australia Day (January 26). It marks the founding of a British Colony in Sydney in 1788.
A fireworks display put on by the local Council taken at the bottom of my garden. My first attempt at firework shots.

Every year on August 8 it is 'International Cat Day' (World Cat Day). This day is a kind of Animal Day, but only for cats, on which they are extra spoiled.
The Eastbound MRL Day Gas rolls through west of Plains on their way back towards Missoula. They will be going the 4th Sub at Paradise this day with some lumber cars to switch in St. Regis.
Thought I'd try another introductory flat lay today as the weather is still pretty miserable.
I grew up in the countryside and have always been interested in nature and gardening.
Although you can't see them from this angle, there are shoots appearing on the bulbs in the bowl.
The only problem is I haven't a clue what they are as I didn't label them.
Still it will be a nice surprise when they bloom.

A Mourning Dove Makes Me Smile on a Cold Rainy Day
A graceful, slender-tailed, small-headed dove that’s common across the continent.
Mourning Doves perch on telephone wires and forage for seeds on the ground; their flight is fast and bullet straight.
Their soft, drawn-out calls sound like laments. When taking off, their wings make a sharp whistling or whinnying.
Mourning Doves tend to feed busily on the ground, swallowing seeds and storing them in an enlargement of the esophagus called the crop. Once they’ve filled it (the record is 17,200 bluegrass seeds in a single crop!), they can fly to a safe perch to digest the meal. Mourning Doves eat roughly 12 to 20 percent of their body weight per day, or 71 calories on average.
