Another lazy day. Work itself seemed to have everyone in a 'meh' kinda mood. Kinda wasted a nice day by sleeping through the afternoon and then evening was spent playing Fallout 3. The 2 figures in this shot are a late Christmas present from a good friend of mine and from my Fallout 3 boxset respectively.
Look at the difference between the normal, house spider in the web to the right, compared to the brute.

The opponent had $70,000 to spend. We had spirit. The opponent put up a zillion signs, bought half-page ads in the paper, bought color stickers on the paper, got the paper's endorsement, bought door-hangers and pre-recorded phone calls and mailers and everything else he could buy.
We walked the streets. We knocked on doors and talked to people. We made personal phone calls and sent personal emails. We won 1,174 votes and we won 'em one vote at a time.
And I am ready to go to bed and sleep for about four days.
