St. Mellion Golf Club's 2017 Mens Captain's Day was hosted by this year's Captain Richard Thompson. A full entry kept Richard and his helpers extremely busy. Checking everyone in was this year's Vice Captain Barry Flanagan and Mens Club Champion's wife Kim Sleat. To keep all those golfers going Richard's wife Debbie with friends Frank & Ruth Blake were on hand to dish out free drinks and snacks at the Halfway House. A glorious day saw the sun shine on all those golfers doing battle for the days prizes. After the golf everyone enjoyed a hog roast and further golf with a charity pitching competition. The presentation of prizes took place outside the Golfer's Bar overlooking the Nicklaus 18th. Well done Richard, a perfect day.
