Went to Harborne to look for some plaques.
Back to Harborne High Street, then walked up Vivian Road (but ended up at the High Street) so went around and ended up back on Greenfield Road.
Next up, the final plaque I was looking for in Harborne on Metchley Lane.
After here, ended up walking near the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (near where I was a few days before). And over the border into Selly Oak. Never expected to end up where I did.
On Metchley Lane in Harborne is Metchley Abbey. Was the home of Sir Granville Bantock. Was a composer.
Lived here 1926-1933.
At 93 Metchley Lane it is Grade II* listed.
