What are people doing? What are they saying? What are they looking at? Who are they? Maybe we can find some answers by sniffing digital traces from various social media data. This image represents a compilation of geo tagged images from Instagram and Flickr together overlaid onto tweets found in Liege, Belgium. Instagram in blue, Flickr in green while Tweets are in pink.
Note that heavy concentration of Flickr images populate the city center while use of Instagram and Twitter are homogeneously distributed. This raises several questions pertaining to the relationships between users, time, space and intent.

After 10 years with the same colour on my visual CV, I thought it was time to change it. Indeed, it has been as many years since I joined DG REGIO (@euinmyregion) of the European Commission and the time has come to explore new paths. On the first of March, I joined the DG JRC (EU Science, Research and Innovation). Not as a scientist but rather as an internal consultant serving all Commission services, and from where I will (try to) start with visual consultancy.
