USING AI TO SOLVE REAL WORLD PROBLEMS
In today’s cloud era, big data has become a foundational basis for society. With vast dataflow generated daily across almost all commercial and social spheres, companies at all levels are discovering the advantages and power of cloud platforms for increased flexibility and support for a new generation of applications incorporating AI. Exactly how can AI help solve real problems in the real world? Three tech executives provide their insights.

Stream processing has become the most dynamic, fastest growing area of the big data space. As streaming applications become more mainstream, technologies to build those applications become more mature and feature rich. For example, Apache Spark 2.0 introduced better support for streaming use cases, Google donated their DataFlow API to the Apache Foundation, and Apache Flink was built from the ground up to support streaming.
