First GUI prototype of my new general purpose dataflow library: Fully extensible node architecture, asynchronous, event driven, multithreaded, JSON serialization.
The GUI aspect will only be an optional feature for building client friendly user interfaces. These classes will be fully skinnable. The NEdit core library is not intended to be a VVVV or QuartzComposer clone or similar. It's meant to provide an event driven graph model with parallel/distributed execution features, as well as useful/common node types. Events are propagated through the graph in a breadth-first approach with each event update running in its own thread. There will also be a support module for providing node types wrapping toxiclibs classes (as already shown above, e.g. SphereGenNode wraps SurfaceMeshBuilder, SceneObjectNode wraps Matrix4x4 & TriangleMesh etc.)

I used a diffused flash from the front-left and a second one behind a white fabric backdrop to softly light the background.
The colored liquid was a mix of shower gel and SketchINK — thick enough to hold its shape before falling.
I applied it drop by drop with a pipette, waiting for that perfect moment right before the drop detached.
That split second made all the difference.

My former colleagues at Osmosoft had a whip-round and bought me a pair of fantastic Royalty-free image books from Dover Publications (a frequent haunt of mine). Dore's London has been keeping me awake at night! I already had a copy of DataFlow, so swapped it for a book on Printmaking and Copywriting from Magma Books along with the metatastic Bibliographic — A Graphic Design book of Graphic Design books. Coffee and a sketchbook makes me one happy unemployed person!
This is more to my own benefit. Had to see how I'm using these networks.

1) Jaiku is dead for me.
2) Ping.fm is included as a content creation service, the reading services (Bloglines, TweetDeck) are not.
3) The solid arrows indicate an automated data flow between services.
