The first floor of the Hitachi Green Datacenter will house an integrated monitoring center, nitrogen gas firefighting equipment and uninterruptible power supplies. The firefighting equipment is specially designed with Nitrogen gas fire extinguishers and cooling systems using outdoor air, both of which have zero ozone depletion and global warming potentials.

Each rack has a switch similar to this to handle networking for each triplet rack.

The top louvers is outdoor air and the bottom louvers is indoor warm/hot air. The system automatically adjusts how much comes in. Then the air goes through the filters on the right.
