Not bad for a 6 year old truck. This is why everyone should live within 3 miles of work. Now if only I could take public transportation...

This dashboard reports the GL DET (deduction, earnings, and tax) codes from the payroll system and its Amount - GL measure. Note the use of data bars within the column to show relative value between the entries. Also, there is a calculated Percent to Total measure that shows the amount (debit or credit) to the company total. Uniquely, this dashboard also respects payroll company number level consolidations including consolidation that spans multiple FEIN numbers. It is important to note that this is a decision support tool and NOT to be used for posting transactions into the financial systems of payroll customers. The payroll system is responsible for transactional reporting, not the information in the cube.

Custom designed and built dashboard for a CEO of a company to demonstrate the ROI of his machinery.

This is my dashboard that I use quite often.

This is what happens when you drive through the desert toward the West in the evening.

Using the Paycheck Summary fact table, this dashboard shows the full customer hierarchy to illustrate that we easily consolidate not just payroll company numbers, but also FEIN numbers, which means that we support payroll consolidation at the holding company level. Note that within the company numbers (A001, A002) is the organizational level (cc1) and within that is the list of employees. Because this is paycheck summary level gross, note that these are not labor allocated dollars, but rather as they exist at the home department of each employee.

This dashboard shows that it is possible to analyze broad deduction, earnings, and tax activity by the full DET category with an Det Code Alias within employee. The Hours - PE, Amount - PE are from Paycheck Earnings fact table. The Amount - PD is from the Paycheck Deductions fact table. The Amount - PT is from the Paycheck Taxes fact table. Along the column axis is the calendar year hierarchy.
