I was sitting in the car at night, waiting and, of course, a little bored. I was contemplating how many LEDs must be in the dash of my VW. I had a camera so this all lead to no good... or at least this photo. ...and, no, that is not the moon in the photo but a streetlight. Though I did consider just telling everyone it was Jupiter and it's many moons.

This dashboard reports the GL DET (deduction, earnings, and tax) codes from the payroll system and its Amount - GL measure. Note the use of data bars within the column to show relative value between the entries. Also, there is a calculated Percent to Total measure that shows the amount (debit or credit) to the company total. Uniquely, this dashboard also respects payroll company number level consolidations including consolidation that spans multiple FEIN numbers. It is important to note that this is a decision support tool and NOT to be used for posting transactions into the financial systems of payroll customers. The payroll system is responsible for transactional reporting, not the information in the cube.
