Oriental Darter (Anhinga melanogaster) also known as Snake Bird(the name is due to long neck which resemble a snake when bird swim in the water).

Common Darter - Garden. Surprised to see this freshly emerged Darter sunning itself on the honeysuckle. As far as I'm aware this is the first newly emerged Dragonfly that we've ever had.

A Black Darter cleaning its eyes. I was heading out to find the family of Shrikes and came this Darter on the side of the road. My little trip out was cut short by a storm travelling over the top of me. I didn't want to stay about as the fields were too open, and next to the pylons and the antenna and a few trees, I was the tallest thing about.
