Usando le maschere parametriche.

Darktale dispone delle maschere parametriche per mascherare le zone che si vogliono elaborare o proteggere, sono veramente potenti ma come tutte le funzionalità di Darktable comportano una curva d'apprendimento molto ripida.

Using parametric masks.

Darktable has parametric masks to mask the areas you want to process or protect, they are really powerful but like all Darktable features they involve a very steep learning curve.

The picture shows the backs of the buildings at Johannisplatz and Brunnenstraße in Werdau, which are located along the river Pleisse. This view has not changed since I can remember. In fact, there have been no significant changes in the last 100 years. But there is one very important difference that is not obvious. When I was a teenager in the 1980s, the river was completely dead. The water was a different color every day, depending on what the textile industry was producing. There were also large piles of foam on the water.

I'm still waiting for the clear box to arrive, but took some time this weekend to rework the wiring for the RTC battery. I use some clear heat shrink showoff the brass tubing use for electrical connections. (A little steampunking, besides its the only thing I could find to make the connection in the pico socket used on this board.

It was a wonderful winter this year. Most of February had over two feet of snow on the ground. There were multiple days of temperatures no higher than -15°C (5°F). There were multiple nights of temperatures down below -25°C (-13°F). The coldest night dipped down to -32°C (-27°F).

It was fabulous!

However, enough is enough. It is time for warmer weather.

The evidence of winter lingers. The last piles of snow have turned to ice from repeated melting during the day and freezing overnight. This has left some interesting ice forms.
