I went to the skating rink and the evening shadow was cast on the rink so I had great white blast of light and a dark shadow of cold ice. Light and Dark or Dark to Light just depends if you read left to right or right to left. Yes I took the most minimal thing there is but this was my first thought when I saw the theme.
It was very lively to be honest. And it looked yellow. Soon we will be traveling again! New places! Looking forward to it!
A dark ominous capture of the elegant raptor. Even though I was quite a distance away it felt like he was intently staring at me as if I was being warned.

Not real. Luminar Sky replacement test. Photo actually taken during day. You can make out the distant mountains aren’t masking the sky very well, but overall the Auto Sky replacement works pretty good for one click. The waves would also look very different under a long exposure.

A Dark-eyed Junco perched on our Dwarf Mt. Adams Pine! I took a few photos, and it flew to the seed feeding stations. We had a flock of about 20 feeding this morning. Photo taken in our backyard in Camas, Washington.
Eilean Donan Castle is undoubtedly a Scottish icon and certainly one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Highlands. When you see it for the first time, it's easy to see why so many people flock to its sturdy gates year after year. Strategically located on its own little island, overlooking the Isle of Skye, at the meeting point of three great sea lakes, and surrounded by the majestic splendour of the wooded Kintail Mountains, Eilean Donan's setting is truly breathtaking.

Missing the sun at and its been pretty dismal lately, but I did manage to get out for some star photography lately (finally!). But I only managed 3 pics as my battery died and my tripod broke at the same time haha! Not having much luck but was still nice to get out :) Hope your all well!

I was quite amazed to see this rainbow well after the sun had dipped below the horizon. It appeared to be in some very high virga as we weren't getting wet on the ground. I think this is the darkest rainbow I have witnessed.

The dark-eyed junco is a species of junco, a group of small, grayish New World sparrows. This bird is common across much of temperate North America and in summer ranges far into the Arctic.
