in support of Gender fluidity & my daughter's choices.
Gender fluidity refers to change over time in a person's gender expression or gender identity, or both. That change might be in expression, but not identity, or in identity, but not expression. Or both expression and identity might change together.

“Something's about to end. Or start. I'm not sure. I just know we're not in the middle anymore. It's safer in the middle.”

Saw this dapper fella at Boyce Thompson Arboretum. Male Northern Cardinal. Mostly this bird inhabits the Eastern half of the US, but there is a good population of them here in Arizona. A picture of his mate in the first comment
I had a return visit to Weston Super-Mare on Monday to finally capture the sun setting directly in front of the causeway; which cuts through the marine lake on one side and the sea on the other.
I waited before, during and after sunset and as luck would have it this immaculately dressed dapper gentleman walked past in this long coat, hat and walking stick.
David is a bit of dapper gent, I have shot him before in April for Brighton Source’s Street style section. He was not featured in the mag but his girlfriend was. I bumped into him again last weekend so shot his montage portrait again. While I was shooting his montage portrait on the Lomo this little snap as well on the Samsung Galaxy NX.
The Galaxy NX is the first interchangeable lens camera to run Android. Read my review of the Samsung Galaxy NX to find out more. You can also see photos I've taken with the Galaxy NX in this Flickr album.

The grasshoppers are all around me during my walks now. Here's a close-up of one showing its intricate patterns and coloring; often perfect camouflage for its environment. As I step, they hop loudly in many directions!
SHIP name: Dapper Cyclura
Final SHIP length:104 studs
Short Bio: The Dapper Cyclura was commissioned as an intrasystem cargo ship.
* Four cargo bays
* Six vertical engines for landing.
* Six asteroid-tracking radar arrays.
______
Built between September 1st and September 31st, I had a lot of fun just letting this ship grow on its frame. The system I most wanted to integrate, which I succeeded at, was using Power Function motors to allow both the radar dishes and bottom-hull turbines to rotate at different speeds. My solution worked, however the mechanism I used ended up very loud, so it isn't reasonable to active at a convention. I'll post a video later in the month.
Got the impression these guys had just stepped out after enjoying a good lunch at the adjacent French restaurant.

Me in my feathered finery at WEDCOT for Dapper Day.
I was going to make a really bad pun about how I'm feeling plucky in that feathered outfit, but I held myself back.
Back to cruddy weather today, overcast and drizzly.
Interesting bird behaviour at Gordon Gardens' pond: this male mallard was one of two faithfully following a very patient female around (I know, drakes and hens, but I can never be serious about anything called a drake...). She left the pond and sidled up to me, probably expecting torn up bread slices and the two chaps, including this very dapper one, followed. I felt a little guilty not having any slices of bread to offer and they made their way back to the water.

Hard to pass up the opportunity to photograph characters like this, so out came the iphone.

When I get older, I'm going to be as dapper as this man.
