Happy Dapper Day 2013!

These photos are from the 2013 The Texas Renaissance Festival All Hallows Eve weekend (the 3rd weekend); what a great day - this was the best day of the TRF so far. Great weather and photo ops everywhere. My thanks to all the people who let me shoot with them even though I don't have a clue what I'm doing!

I took these photos in October 2013 at the TRF near Todds Mission, Texas, about 50 miles NW of Houston.

Making it look so simple.

It's tricky to get good stranger close-up photos. I would have liked to take a photo of this gentleman straight on but in the end was only able to sneak this side view of his gorgeous mutton chops (actually part of his mustache, so called?) He had a dapper top hat in hand as well as dress shoes on!
