This was one of the best days of Texas Renaissance Festival this season. A lot of stuff going on - the Benefit Betties, Spin Dancer, Gypsy Dance Theatre fire show - and much much more! Great weather and everyone seemed to be in a good mood. This was part of the Highland Fling weekend so there was plaid everywhere.
I took this photo in late November 2014 at the TRF near Todd's Mission, TX.

Playing with image orientation and how that makes poses feel. I look kinda like a ninja with gravity shifted like this.
Taken on Dapper Day Spring 2016 in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. Dapper Day is held twice a year at Disney parks in Florida, California, and Paris, and is a reason to dress in vintage or other upscale wear and both see and be seen. Visit www.dapperday.com for more information.
The Dapper Dans of Main Street, Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World, Florida. Fantastic barber-shop harmonies.
Found family. This cabinet card was in Peggie Jenkins collection. Thanks to marriott-smith photography I can now identify the sitters. It was taken by S G Payne and Son of Aylesbury. Samuel Glendenning Payne was Frederick Jenkins's uncle on his mother's side. Frederick's father, Henry Jenkins (1838-1921), photographer of Tunbridge Wells married Elizabeth Barrett Payne(1840-1931) of Aylesbury and her father was Samuel Payne (1799-1882)the head postmaster of Aylesbury. These are the sons of Samual Payne.

The Dapper Dan plush I had as a boy. It has laces, a zipper, a button, and a snap to teach kids how to dress themselves. It's awesome.

In shorts and tall socks, this Blue Devil silhouette appears alongside a photograph of similarly-attired students at a fraternity social. Marking the "Fraternities" section, the "Dapper Devil" is one of a series of Blue Devil silhouettes from the 1960 edition of The Chanticleer, Duke University's yearbook.
