Thanks for the words of encouragement yesterday! I was actually photographing some food/chef portrait for an online restaurant review thing. Portraits of others is definiiiitely not my forte so I would love to work on that some more. I also want a 24-70 more than ever now!

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. A young guy who looked to be down on his luck, and a little bit addicted to substances, dangling his feet off of the ledge. Something spoke to me about this shot, I can't explain what it was, just a feeling to capture it - so I did. Enjoy!

It's rare I change my earrings...I have some nice ones, like these....but the small gold hoops are so easy to deal with, they rarely leave my ears. Shot for Macro Mondays "pair".

Two thin cables (possibly phone cables?) extended along the side of an old bluestone cottage along Fullarton Road, before connecting to the nearby stobie pole.

I made these quite a while ago, and I was wondering if I should start making these large Dangle Houses again for my shop? They're quite large, and lovingly stuffed ....

Harriman State Park, NY. The top half of a dead tree, its trunk snapped midway, leans over the hillside from atop the ridge. The bare, dangling limbs branch out before the autumnal foliage behind it like a river into a delta. How long has this tree hung this way? How long before decay and gravity send the woody carcass tumbling to the ground?

Heartbreaking that this beautiful mansion in Bed Stuy got demolished this week.
