An outdoor dance performance in Lincoln Center... The dancers are wonderful, as you can see, but the costumes! An interesting experiment, kind of space-age influenced, using a textured gauze-like fabric. But who ever heard of cowlneck tops on dancers in August? (Or anytime...rather constricting!) And how 'bout that car-wash toga that would be so easy to trip on???

I admired these up-and-coming dancers' willingness to dance despite these difficulties, and their youthful enthusiasm and joy in performing at the festival.
