The day after these were taken we went for "a cure" in the same bar, well we would of had a pint if the landlords daughter hadn't been a wee bitch and refused to serve us.
She had no problem serving us this night but not the next day. She would be sued if she tried that now.
The two lads with their shirts off were bet a fiver if they would do the best dance to "Mr Luvva Luvva Man" it was very very funny.I'm not really that fussed on using flash but in this case i had no other choice as the light was so bad and at the time i didn't have good enough glass on the camera.
It will be interesting to catch up with as many of the people in the photograph as possible in the coming months.

One of the cape dancers having a great time swirling about in her cape in the Fremont Solstice Parade. It rained a bit but a little rain did not dampen her spirits.
Dried Tulips. Sometimes some flowers will lose their petals while others will just ‘mummify’ in the warmth of the studio conditions.
I know that some people are not keen on decay and that others love it.
But here I saw such beauty still, in the shapes and the colours.
Another of my personal favourites.
I just HAD to photograph them!

Valley of the Rocks, Lynton North Devon. Fascinating to watch and listen to the clashing of horns from these feral goats high up on the rock ledges.
Watching the Apsara dancers in Cambodia reminded me of the Legong Dancers of Bali. Both feature ornate costumes and intricate hand and finger movements, except the Legong Dancers in Bali also include sharp head and eye movements during the dance. I don't believe that the similarities are coincidental. Both cultures have strong Hindu roots. While Bali is obviously a predominantly Hindu island, Cambodia started out as a Hindu nation, and only later did it gradually convert to Buddhism. In fact, Angkor Wat was originally built as a Hindu Temple.
