When Dance is the last class of the day, it's really hard to stop when the bells ring ! Howleen decides to try a head-spin, but finds she needs a little help to get into the groove.
She's still mostly stock, save for a slightly modified pair of LIV shoes. Her feet are a bit wider than LIVs, so I cut the first strap - they fit, just didn't look right with all four toe straps intact.
Ordered Robecca's 'Dance Class' clothes in the middle of high trading season, and it got lost in the shuffle of all the new goodies. Luckily I found it, and here it is ! Since the bodysuit, minus the skirt, is her new swimwear, I made her more of my still-ill-fitting sandals.
This outfit is sooo cool. The bag opens, and is as detailed as Robecca, And I simply adore that hat ! Her sarong-skirt has the tiniest ruffle detail and a bitty-bow, too. Wasn't much on the shoes, so the outfit, pre-holiday, was fairly inexpensive.
Now, if I could just find Operetta's 'Dance' outfit for $7. delivered...
I really really really wanted to try and save her for myself for Christmas! I have wanted a Howleen since the sister pack came out, but never saw her in any Target, and since I didn't want the Clawdeen I had a real hard time paying for her on the secondary market. So when I saw that TRU had them instock I I jumped and ordered her right away!
I sooo wrecked Dance Class Howleen's hair with a boil rinse, I was tempted to buy another one. The rinse frayed and straightened her hair to the point that it looked sharp ! Still, I really liked my Howleen - even got her better hands, courtesy of Cleo....was there a way I could fix my error ?
I almost hated to style her into a pagegirl - I *always* do that. But I knew it'd look good on her and I'd like it a lot more than that frayed ugly mess she had. So I did it, and I'm glad.
Although...you don't think she looks like an MH version of 'Dora the Explorer', do you ?
Ezra demonstrates coffee handstands, which we practice all the time. In that first photo he wasn't actually on his way up, but on the way down without touching feet to ground before on the way back up. This is what I am talking about when I talk about Ezra's class. He crazy!
