'Het Speulderbos' is called ' the forest of the dancing trees'. The forest is not just mysterious, it is also very rare. It's a paradise for birds (of prey), deer, badgers and wild boars. So there is enough choice to have a good time!
Here is another picture from Emily's senior photo session.
Oh and the trees and bench were really there out by the lake!

Crucifix orchids "dancing". At f/4.
I don't usually post 2 photos that just differ in f value but there were aspects of each I liked and they are quite dissimilar in some respects.
Thanks for your visit. Comments, faves and invitations are very appreciated if you chose to leave any.
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the Dancing Queen
Friday night and the lights are low
Looking out for the place to go
Where they play the right music, getting in the swing
You come in for a king
Anybody could be that guy
Night is young and the music's high
With a bit of rock music, everything is fine
You're in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance
You are the Dancing Queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing Queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
Oh yeah, you can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
Ooooh, see that girl, watch that scene, dig in the Dancing Queen
You're a tease, you tried them all
Leave them burning and then you're gone
Looking out for another, anyone will do
You're in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance...
You are the Dancing Queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing Queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the Dancing Queen
Dig in the Dancing Queen
Dig in the Dancing Queen
Dig in the Dancing Queen

One from the archives. This Sandhill Crane pair were just off the Coastal Trail in Anchorage when one decided it needed to leap into the air as both began a verbal discourse.
Taken 3 September 2016 on the Coastal Trail in Anchorage Alaska.

I went dancing on my boat
beyond the cruel sea
And the sea roars
Says I went to steal
the matchless light from your beautiful gaze
Come and see if the sea is right
Come and see my heart dance here
If I dance on my boat
I won't go to the cruel sea
And I won't even tell you where I went to sing
smile, dance, live and dream with you
Come and see if the sea is right
Come and see my heart dance here
To be able to dream with you
To be able to dream with you
To be able to dream
Translation from the Portuguese Canção do Mar (Song of the Sea)
These four girls led a successful bid to beat the world record for the most Charleston dancers at one time in the summer of 2015 at the De La Warr pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea in Sussex, England.
Great shoot tonight with fellow tog Chris Button. Visted Dancing Ledge on the jurrasic coast. Part of the ledge was blow up 100 years ago and used as a swimming pool by local schools. I opted for a long exposre because I liked the effect it had on the reflections in the pool. Its a long walk but well worth it. Thanks for any comments or favourites
