in the subterranean halls of marienplatz station in munich, a commuter walks past, their movement captured in the reflective symmetry of the polished surface beside them. this fleeting slice of urban life, rendered in stark black and white, speaks to the rhythm and flow of daily transit. the convergence of line and light, the echo of steps on tile, the quiet narrative of a journey through the city's veins—all are mirrored here, in the silent choreography of public space.

Il fait beau!

Daily routines, Macro Mondays, Nov. 7, 2016

kneeling close, hands move without thought—looping laces, tying time. the shoe is small, the gesture ancient. there is no hurry, no noise. only quiet touch, muscle memory, and the slow-making of something that lasts beyond the knot.

I like the slight distortion of the glass, this geometrical imperfection. This is the essence of everyday beauty - the imperfection that catches the eye and makes the world stop for a while. The imperfection that allows to slip into otherworldly.

My daily routine of walking always allows me to look across to Arran and Ailsa Craig ~ you can just see Ailsa Craig out on the horizon!

One thing that went wrong with my walk today was that I forgot to take my camera with me and that is very unusual ... so, today's photos were taken with my iPhone which I never ever forget to take with me!!

i was standing near the entrance of a quiet shopping arcade when this moment unfolded—two people crossing the same lit patch of ground, each pulling their own weight, each locked in their thoughts. the morning sun sliced the scene into two mirrored halves. one world in reality, one in reflection. it felt like a metaphor for routine, repetition, and invisible labor. i didn’t move. i just watched time ripple through this mirrored frame.

aka basement window. Some light is better than no light.

A random shot. Turned out better than I had hoped, decided to post it here too

Macro Monday - Daily routine

I always put on my rings before I leave for work

a man stops to tie his shoe. everyone else keeps moving, blurred figures in transit, reflections stretching across the ceiling. the station hums with motion, but in this moment, he is still. münchner freiheit, a pause in the rush.

Macro Mondays: My Daily Routine

Logical extension of what’s in my bag series. Unlike controlled and arranged photos, this one is purely accidental. Something strange is happening when the bag is closed.

captured at madrid’s mercado barceló, where the mirrored surfaces of the escalators reflect the rhythm of urban life. the delivery rider, pausing with his phone, seems caught between movement and stillness, a brief moment of pause amid the constant flow. the cool tones and stark reflections create a cityscape that feels both intimate and infinite, where every step is mirrored by another.

a fleeting moment at plaza mayor in madrid, where light and shadow play on ancient cobblestones. a silhouette strides through the archway, suspended between darkness and light. the shadow stretches long, chasing memories of countless footsteps before. time pauses, the city breathes. a scene both timeless and transient, etched in stark contrast.
