SS Dagger [Early Model] by Robert Klaas, Solingen
SS [Schutzstaffel] Dagger in early Version. Modell 1933. The dagger is in fine condition throughout. This early SS Dagger is in an uncleaned state with the Maker Robert Klaas Solingen.
Grip: This grip shows no repairs, and fits the crossguards. There are some indications of wear on this grip. The runes displays good enamel, and the silvering to the runes and double-circled borders nicely match. The grip eagle is the early, “High Necked” variety. All the details are visible throughout the bird's feathering, talons, wreath, and mobile swastika. This early dagger is equipped with nickel crossguards and tang nut. These guards are in good shape. The guards are still in good condition, showing an average amount of wear from use. The lower reverse guard is stamped with the district Roman numeral, “III”.
Blade: The blade of this example is still in fairly nice condition, with just the slightest amount of gray in the surfaces. The motto Meine Ehre heißt Treue «My honor is loyalty» shows some wear to the center letters, but overall it has about 85% of the original darkening intact. The reverse ricasso of the blade is matching-etched with the circular design formed by the firm's name and location, “Robert Klass/Solingen”. In the center is a pair of stylized kissing cranes. The blade shoulders perfectly meet the lower crossguard contour.
Scabbard: The scabbard shell is perfectly straight. The anodizing appears to all still be intact, and much of the the original lacquer remains, it remains somewhere between 20 and 30%. The nickel scabbard mounts exactly matching the patina of the guards. These mounts are in excellent condition, with the lower ball having just a tiny dimple hit at the bottom. The original nickel screws are all in place.

Hi there! I am the world's best low-maintenance cat! My name is Dagger and I was born April 27, 2019. I love, love, LOVE other cats, but I think humans are gross. I mean don't get me wrong, I love being near the humans, but I don't want their germ-ridden hands touching me. I see what happens to humans' hands. They pick up this funny-looking spoon thing, dig through my litter box and steal my poo. How weird is that? Wait, it gets worse. Then they take their hands and stick them under running water. Did you hear me? RUNNING WATER! It's nuts. So while I enjoy being near the humans and taking advantage of their automatic lap warmers and these blankets they cover themselves in, they can keep their stinky hands to themselves. Anyway, as I was saying, I LOVE other cats. I NEED other cats. They make great cuddle puddles, sleeping companions and playmates. I just want to be near people and hang out around them. I won't ask you for much, just some warm comfy spots to sleep and some yummy food. In return for a warm place to stay with regular meals, I will be a wonderful companion that is not needy, not in your face and not clingy. I am a great listener though. I like to hang around and always lend an ear to listen to you and will never judge you for anything you tell me. If you want to play with me, I do like playing with the stick toy, kitty wand things that people move around for me and I do like all toys. I am not picky in the toy department. I am also 100% litterbox trained and a sweet girl who just needs an understanding home with a kitty or two inside of it. Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $110. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance. Apply online at form.jotform.us/72344550240144
This is actually a baby grey dagger moth caterpillar and so doesn't quite match up to the colours that you generally find on the web. Of course you can't see the colours in this pic so you'll just have to take my word for it, or wait until I post the next pic entry which is in full wiggly-technocolour-vision™ :)
