We are interested in the spaces of misinformation and miscommunication and aim to reintroduce elements of chaos and disorder into the everyday.

That's why we invite her. She likes to help. I don't. But right now she's resting the dirty dishes on my head.
(It's not really why we invite her.)
It's a great start, but I definitely want to go back after work and get a lot more smaller pieces for smaller work on my 12x20 Jet lathe, and a few larger pieces for things like large bowls. I may sell some of the pieces to interested woodworkers, if there are any. I can give a more than fair price, as I've paid nothing but a little time for these.
I particularly liked the slash across this piece. It's framed a bit in thin, dark lines. It's a bit prettier in real life.

My wife worked on canning some butternut squash today. I snapped this picture before I left for work.
Even after running home, taking a shower, cooling off in front of a fan for a bit (I had mild heat stroke by the end of the cutting - felt like I was going to vomit - definitely not in shape for hard labor yet - I'm a computer nerd), I still had what I'm calling an "arboreal flush." No time to unload the logs, so they're going into the office with me!
