Cleaning up bug-infested Eucalyptus makes quite a mess. I used the wire bristle brush and another thin one with a long handle to brush out the excrement from the Eucalyptus Longhorned Borer larvae trails.

Anchorseal apparently turns sapwood red and heartwood a medium brown, or the wood turns the Anchorseal these colors. If I scrap my fingernail over the red areas, I get a bunch of red wax under my nail, so perhaps it's the latter. The red will fade to a similar brown in time, as evidenced by thin rounds I sealed months ago. The red is now gone on those, but they have a deeper version of this warm brown, which is still quite pretty.
