Oh, the girls had such fun picking out pumpkins at the farm this weekend. It was quite chilly, so hats and cardigans were chosen along with their little boots. They stomped around the fields looking at all the pumpkins. Rudi chose a classic shape with a straight stump. She named it Melvin and told me Melvin would need glasses. I suppose I am expected to carve them into his 'face'. But, I am not sure that she won't commandeer a pair of my magnifying work glasses for him. Cathy Rae chose a tiny pumpkin that leans a little to one side and has a curly long stem. She is calling it Grizzy - short for Grizelda - explaining that Grizzy is really an enchanted princess with red hair. So, we loaded Grizzy and Melvin into the car and brought them home, along with a nice, normal, unnamed pumpkin to be used for pie.

She has all the elements that make a Flowerumi lovable: A cute face, bright and happy colors, that roly-poly "pillow" shape that is my signature and the "flowery" hairdo that is so much fun. You can find Cutie from Monday through Thurs. at my Friends of Craftybegonia Blogger blog.
