and no wonder they are, and they look straight into the camera knowing full well I am taking their picture,
a strong entry into "cutest dog ever" contest and they also look like hunting dogs to me?

Remember (click here) this shot from Christmas 2010?. Here's another shot of my babies in their sweaters cozying up to the fire in our old apartment, in their (then) new beds.
Sorry...it's gonna be a tough Christmas this year missing them both. I'm just gonna try to stay busy all day and let the day come and go.
Today is extra special — JJ turns 14 years old, and it’s only our second year celebrating his birthday together.
It’s also my late dad’s birthday. He passed away in 2022, and sharing this day with JJ makes it bittersweet but beautiful.
From the moment JJ joined the family, he’s filled every day with joy, loyalty, and love. Here’s to more happy birthdays, adventures, and cuddles with this sweet boy. 💙🐾
I think this shot might actually come within a mile of capturing TJ's passion for every minute of life. He's a 14 year old ball of energy as you can see. :)
