Dogs (pets) are all about love.
You are giving love and you are receiving love.
It's a non stop thing.
Unconditional love, both ways, always.
Cuddling, hugging, playing, chatting, laughing, hiking, crawling, encouraging, melting.
Of course it's healthy for you.
We should be born into this world with prescription on some kind of pet.
Geez, I love this dude.
I give you Aiko and he is definitely hugging you all, he loves hugs, loads.
My son’s friend had gotten Kirby & Friends (from Kirby’s Dreamland game) hats for her cats, and she gave one to David for Toby. 💕🐶😍
David is holding Toby here in the basement tonight. 🌛Maybe we will try again later in daytime. 🌞
Thank God for this dog!
He chose us for a reason, I'm so sure of it
We were on the look out for a mixed breed dog and didn't quite find the one we wanted.
So we decided that we should look for qualities we needed to be in a dog and found this breed; Finnish lapphund
On April 21st 2014 I suddenly got this strange message in my head, totally out of nowhere: "The dog is born"
And I said it out loud and my family looked at me, "OK Mom is going strange again....."
I didn't even think of it anymore.
I continued searching for the dog. Found some breeders, mailed them and put me up on lists and did actually get no's from them all.
Then out of the blue one of the breeders contacted me, she had had a cancellation, we talked on the phone, we had a very nice chemistry and were invited up to her place to say Hi.
There was 8 dogs in the litter and they were all over the place and I could't see the difference on any of them, all were very cute.
Then I thought I needed some help (yesyes, I know :D) and said inside "The dog we are supposed to have must show himself", and what happend the moment I had finished the thought, hehe - one of them started to circulate around me several times while I was sitting on the grass.
He sniffed at me and I took him up and said that this little chap seemed interested.
The breeder said he was one of the two that were available.
Wooohoooo!!
And what date was he born, hehe - I almost fainted when I noticed that it was the same date as I got this strange message in my head.
Meant to be, yup.
Best dog for me ever, yup.
Will he keep me company, yes yes - in lonely days, in happy days, in ordinary days.
I'm EvaThrilled to keep him in my home, that was not necessarily an option on the path I have chosen now.
King Aiko in my heart, definitely!
And I bet, I am his Queen
Aiko is now resting upon the 120 cm fence. He is now 180 cm over the ground and has the view of a King, of course.
Snow is definitely covering Norway.
Elks and deers are not finding enough food in the forest.
Luckily we have some spots for them where we lay food for them.
Some elks are now wandering in our gardens to eat from our trees.
Yes please do, I say.
We leave them in peace and keep our dogs of course leashed and hope that they will survive this winter.
Exotic yes, even for us.
I don't think Aiko was too thrilled on this enormous hike we took, so he gave me this look several times....
I realized at least that carrying a cam is no problem on long hikes, I thought actually it would be a burden.
But I guess my EvaThrilled feelings took the weight.
It was sooo fun to click with a real cam 😂
And all this thrill thanks to my FlickrFriend 🙏
Young Border Collie. These dogs are amazing, so clever and active. Never a boring moment with one of these dogs around!
This cute Corgi dog at the beach was struggling to bring back a huge stick to his family. This went on for a long time and eventually he had to give up as it was just too hard to drag it over the pebbled and rocky area of the beach area.
Couldn't resist snapping this gorgous doggo as it gazed at his pawrents whilst they ate their lunch. He did eventually get a few tid bits. Who could refuse that face.
Cute little dog I saw on the bus with his nasty owner. He was in a soft case on her lap, she had her bag and her arms resting on top and the dog looked pretty squished. Every time the dog tried to move, the woman slapped the case, or poked the dog through the case and said mean things. Finally I said "quit being so nasty to your dog. If i was squished in a case like that i'd be squirming too." Her response: "well you're not". If she's that rotten to her dog in public, it's sad to think how she treats the little guy in private. :(
He definitely caught a scent, rolling around in it, having a joyful moment.
I would say Carpe Diem suits well here.

My neighbor's dog, Kayla, the white Chihuahua, and Ali, my neighbor's sister's older, mixed Australian Cattle Dog, watch me pass by their window as I walk my dog.
...and 86 shots later I got one worth sharing. Actually, they hated taking this pic. Teddy was trembling in the box, he had no idea what to do. "Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!" from The Boys.
