The magical evening that was The 10th Annual New York Pet Fashion Show. Bella Mia won The 2014 Best Dressed Dog Award wearing Anthony Rubio Designs. Anthony Rubio won the 2014 Pet Fashion Designer Of The Year Award with his original convertible floral couture master piece. Thank You Ada Nieves, Gregg Oehler and the entire crew at The 2014 New York Pet Fashion Show. #NYPetFashionShow
Thank you everyone for the congratulatory remarks. Although I'm very grateful for receiving the 2014 Pet Fashion Designer Of The Year Award. For me, it's about the dogs. In this case, it's all about Bella Mia. I was overjoyed when she was awarded The 2014 Best Dressed Dog Award wearing Anthony Rubio Designs. Thank you. All my best, Anthony
Sometimes he give me this face, and I hear the words "what do you want" adorable, it makes me smile..
Notice the lack of smiles. I think old age has finally set in and the boys(14 and 17years) are fighting constantly. I can't leave them alone in the same room together, especially if there's food because TJ will attack Teddy if he even comes near him. I tricked them into this shot by withholding the treat. Its ridiculous, stressful, and the constant discord is making me miserable. Sorry for the lack of pics lately, but they aren't inspiring me to preserve any of these moments with them. Anthony Rubio with Chihuahuas Bogie and Kimba at the 2014 National Puerto Rican Day Parade.
Today was he grandest of events where an estimated 2 million people came out to celebrate and honor our heritage with pride and much pomp. We marched in the 57th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade and were embraced by the cheers, howls and people asking to take our photos. It was like a huge hug from God being acknowledged, respected and loved without judgement or envy. We had the privilege of strutting my designs on the "True" runway of life. At one point I looked up into the sky because I sensed the pride and love of my ancestors and also from my Bandit who once marched in this very parade. Que Viva Puerto Rico.

It was a long car ride to North Dallas from Ft. Worth, so I decided to bring the boys over in the cool of the late evening air so they wouldn't overheat. We spent the night on the floor, ate a little pizza, and no...they didn't go to sleep all night. :) The boys are officially Dallasites!!

Many theories on why TJ keeps attacking Teddy. It turns out he had two very loose teeth which may have been hurting him. Also the vet thinks, given Teddy's age(17 years), that Teddy may be emitting a pheromone which TJ intreprets as dominance and TJ is trying to re-establish dominance. So we have a plug-in which should mask any pheromones and he gets a liquid version of "doggy pot" on his treats to reduce any anxiety. As you can see, so far it's working. :)
