So I saw Joe (tagged) make this guy, and that helped me remember that I used to watch some of this show when I was younger, and by some of it I mean part of one dvd that I never finished watching, and a clip of a scene my cousins were watching, the primary religious show I watched was VeggieTales, which I'm pretty sure a lot of you guys have watched or maybe heard about, but for now I decided to make this guy because I have also found out that he had become more popular in the meme culture. I wanted to modify a Batman Cowl because I really wanted the details of his mask to show, and I think I did a good job on that, I of course also gave him his offbrand lightsaber.
He is heavier and bigger than Mk 1. The cockpit has a small hatch right on top, but can also be opened entirely and can easily fit two guys.

I have completely re done this model from scratch and lost a lot of extra parts not needed and made it shorter in height yet tougher, also made particular areas different like the wheel mud guards that are a different shape then the older D&1/2's. In Old Dark Grey none of this is easy when nobody else has done it that i have seen. Got a little Jeff Churill sticker in the side too, and the "Beat up" Star on the front is an Archer decal, I really like it this way, looks battle worn. The Name "ACE" on the side comes from a real life Gun Truck as most had names. I think it fits the truck well given the "Ace of Spades" Death card Nam thing, also goes well with the helmet on the fig. The whole rear clips on and off to have different configurations on the back if wanted for say troop transporter or the Gun truck that uses the M113 top, which seeing as my M113's top does come off in one piece it can clip onto the rear of the truck very easy, I'm sure i will show that at some point. Found another usage for a BA Barrel too ; )
Most later Nam Gun Trucks were painted Black and had a yellow nose but the early ones were Olive and i can say there are many that were left Olive still, and being that i prefer to build in ODG which is as close to Olive drab as you can get IMO and makes for more challenges for me, i went with ODG, just thought i would mention that before somebody jumps on the "They were ALL black".
Bit of info
On September 2, 1967, a particularly devastating attack killed seven drivers, wounded 17 and destroyed or damaged 30 trucks. To remedy the obvious vulnerability of the supply convoys, a "hardened convoy" concept was implemented, protected by a new type of security vehicle. This gun truck, as it became known, was based on the two-and-a-half-ton cargo truck, protected by a barrier of sandbags, and armed with two M60 machine guns. Hardened convoys were smaller than previously, being composed of only 100 trucks, and their security detail was increased until there was one gun truck for every 10 transport trucks.
In the event of an ambush, their role was to drive into the kill zone during the first few minutes of the attack, and saturate the attackers with their firepower. Early designs proved flawed, as the sandbag protections quickly became waterlogged in the frequent rains, weighing down the whole vehicle. They were later replaced with ad hoc steel armor plating, salvaged from scrap yards. The crew consisted of a driver, two gunners, a non-commissioned officer in charge (NCOIC), and sometimes a grenadier armed with an M79 grenade launcher. In October 1968, the factory-made hardening kits arrived to replace the sandbag and wood gun trucks
Another variant of the RSO, I keep trying to snap this one outside but weather just keeps changing so this will have to do for now, my pics have just been terrible lately, the ones of figs outdoors have come out quite nice IMO, the ones of vehicles not so much both in studio style or just with natural light and background, when I get more time I will work on it ; )
Thought I'd try another Afrika Korps captured vehicle then I just decided to modify this older model. Will take a better pic later when its dark outside. The 75mm defo packs a punch for sure and yeah I doubt they fired this one while driving lol ; )
I added the flag as i saw a pic of one on a DAK Captured Tank, kinda fitting imo as they did have to use what they had and take over equipment and vehicles just like Pirates of the desert! and here is a perfect example, I also note that the skull and bones symbol was used by many German units and armed forces around the world so adding it from multiple references.
Help from Todd as always, Thanks bud
Couldn't find any decent Stargate minifigures to buy so decided to make my own. It's early days yet but getting there.
Messed around with most of my ODG models changing bits of tech around..added the new BA M2HB and i think it fits great! Always good when you can have a steering wheel..if you can..im very lucky to drive past an M3/M2/DUKW most mornings..all fully restored so the M3 has always been a fav WW2 vehicle. feel free to add me to pics..i know some don t like it..but i don t mind..will help where i can..but don t ask for breakdowns of my work during that..please remember that i may still miss work as i don t have the amount of time i had before on flickr.
Built for the Brickarms "Tremendous Technical" Contest over on the BA Forum.
The Snatch Land Rover has got to be one of my favourite Technicals, the Land Rover originally being only a civilian vehicle used on farms mainly, was never designed to take the role an APC should be doing, however costs meant it was pushed into military service as far more then just a troop transporter but as a fast reaction Technical used to get in and give the bad guys hell! Sadly it was used in many instances as a general patrol vehicle which it was never designed to be as it's not armoured enough. However when used as a Technical it performed very well and there are several versions.
The Brickarms parts usage is as follows(I'm sure I will forget a few)
3 BA MCH Helmets..the Snatch fits 4 figs
Spare tyre held on by a BA monopod
Front bumper features the BA Minigun Handle on the top corners
Two frontal aerials on the hood are BA Minigun end caps
The snorkel in right side is a BA under barrel grenade launcher
The windshield is held in place by a BA Monopod and the snorkel and aerial are held into the windshield by 4 BA U-clips
The aerials on the roof are connected to the roof by a BA 50cal tripod piece
One aerial itself is a BA 50cal firing pin
The gun is a BA LMG..one of my first weapons ; )
The side camouflage netting is made up by using BA U-clips connected together and connected to the vehicle with BA monopods. 96 U-clips used..can't say I've seen camo netting done like this..the actual tech is what the clips were designed to do so credit to Will on a great design..not sure why some people like to take credit for putting them together..you know given that's what they are supposed to do..just odd
Lots of NPU for these great BA parts!
Maybe time for a rest as it's quiet

This was someone I've wanted to make for a while, I didn't think Lego would make variants of some of the characters, so I decided to do one of course. This might be the only variant based off an existing Overwatch minifigure for a while though. I got his head and hair from Bricklink and modified them, I decided to give him goggles that stick out like TLBM Robin, I don't remember who came up with that electric wheel piece, but I think it works pretty well. One of my faves to make.

Princess Mononoke is an anime produced by Studio Ghibli,1997. It is my favorite anime during my childhood: giant animals, beautiful scenes, and a touching story. The struggles between nature and artifacts were such an impact on me, and I learn a lot from the film: the questions about life and death, different sides making different actions, etc.
Balrog/Rancor Hybrid.
Started with a Rancor minifig and sculpted into a Balrog. By far the largest custom fig I’ve made, maybe not the most detailed though.
Inspired by awesome SW/LOTR mashup artwork from @jakebartok
Thanks to my local games shop, @warehouse51games for all the supplies (lots of greenstuff, mordant earth, etc)

Had a play around just a bit of table scrap 20 minute fast building to see how the jeep would look in dark green, I wish certain parts came in dark green but they don't so had to mix in some black parts but works out ok. Posable steering again. WW2 stream stalkers(you know who you are) here you go something to try copy. The rest of the normal people I hope you enjoy!
There is a steering wheel but you can't see it at this angle
"They see me Rollin"
So I actually had the idea of making him a few years ago after my brother and I watched the 2014 reboot with Nick Fury and corrupt business man, it was a pretty good film, I'm trying to record the Original movies too. one thing I waited for was the armor piece on him because I didn't want to draw all of the detail on some simple body, he is of course based off his appearance from that reboot, except he's the silver version because I wanted to combine the classic version a little (even though that guy is slower than Internet Explorer, don't worry guys this guy is fast!!!), also because I felt like if I did the black version (which I won't lie, actually looks pretty cool), it would look a bit less detailed. Maybe I'll make that version soon but right now I like this version. His gun is basically the closest thing to his actual gun, if you know a piece that would work bettwr let me know please.
GIANT WASP, THE HIVE TERROR.
Happy #monstermonday folks!! This one is a familiar build I'm sure to some of you, as I gave a lil sneak peek of it a couple weeks ago. This was the encounter from the fourth Montown Mob quest post in which Marybeth the Kenku Barbarian went into cave at the behest of an herbalist, and fought a remarkably large insect!
Getting the shaping of the abdomen to curve was pretty fun, though the wings were a bit tricky. Originally, I thought about using the translucent wing pieces from a Hero Factory set, but they ended up wayyy put of scale, so I settled on these for the long, sharp-looking wings that yellowjackets have! What do you think? Did this build make you shudder at the thought of a wasp this big in real life?
Custom Lego Minifigure of the Week! When one bear trap just isn’t enough @kragonofhorace
Awesome job to @kragonofhorace for using an already dead Jerusalem Cricket and BrickWarriors Custom Lego Accessories to make this shot complete!
Another of my fun little display stands..again using "Lifelites" underneath..this one looks awesome on a desk in complete darkness..just a cool paperweight at moment..credit to Maclain for the cubedude head.
My (current) final Bendy character, Bendy's final form in Chapter 5. It was pretty difficult to figure out how to build him, bit I think that this looks pretty awesome, not sure about the legs, but the rest of him is amazing! I painted some of the fingers and claws because I didn't have enough of the black ones, but I still think overall, one of my best builds. I'm trying to get pieces to make more Bendy characters, but just know, Bendy will return...
This was a bit of a more difficult character to make, not just some of the details on the character (and that was the easier part), his giant frigging wheel vehicle thing was hard to figure out how to build (It's actually not finished because I don't have enough pieces, I just put it at an angle to make it seem that way, but I still love how it looks. Oh yeah, this is a minor Spider-Man Villain, he has something against Rocket Racer or something, and his appearance is based off a combination of the comic version and a cartoon version.
Happy Halloween everyone! Have a spooky and scary night and be safe! Watch out for the boogeyman! Minifig from Fig-Factory
Finally got to do some building, updated these two. I'd like to do more non military builds in the future..maybe some large trucks or tankers.

Had to swap the photo out as last one was too fuzzy so if you wondered where it disappeared now you know lol
Hopefully I will get around to some new builds soon enough but I had these updates due for a very long time that had to be done first.
Took this picture from my instagram @bricknbud I thought it was worthy of showing the flickr community. Enjoy!

I have quite a few more fig combos but didn't include them as it would give away what my next few Nam builds are ; )
A lot of people like to follow WW2 or Modern Military, where as the Vietnam war is something many want to forget or pass over, it was one of the most costly wars for the US and spanned not only years but different presidents and whole changes in culture. It's something that should be taught and something people should learn about. Nam vets get a rougher deal then WW2 vets, and it's stupid, they were no less heroes then the ww2 guys IMO. In many cases the people signing up believed what they were told by the government about communism taking over the whole world and wanted to help stop it or they had no choice and were drafted, heck many went because other family and friends had gone and wanted to do whatever they could to help. There are no 100% heroes or villains in life or war and many of the Nam vets on both sides went through Hell on earth, they got my respect.
I put a filter on the pic to try get a similar look of a photograph from that actual time period.
What if the Millenium Falcon did not escaped planet of Hoth ?
Not really satisfied with this... Others will come soon.
Just a close up of my heli..massive thanks to all the great Little Byrds out there..really helped me in building my own. My Archangel contractors aerial choice for infiltrations ; )
My latest version of the Bat pod, it's had more changes then you would know.. will leave this version be..for now ; )
ok let´s start the year with this one. its the first time that i painted the face manually. i think its ok. let me know what you guys think about the fig. i personally really like the aiming pose and the exhausted look of this lone survivor.
BUILDS & GUILDS 2025 RECAP.
Well, folks, we made it to the end of 2025. For many of us, it's truly a wonder we actually got here, but for me, this community has been a refuge from some of the fresh new horrors we see in the world daily. Sharing my builds with you all and being inspired by what you've all made has been one of the highlights of this year, and I couldn't be more grateful. The builds I've selected are some of my favorites I've shared in 2025!
Thank you all for following along and supporting my building journey. I may not have tackled as many new build categories as I'd have liked to this year, but I did participate in a number of contests and challenges, as well as win a MOC of Note at this year's Brick Rodeo (for a build I haven't shared with y'all yet). So I haven't been just sitting around when it comes to my goals! In 2026, I hope to be building fun and new scenes, characters, monsters, and more, and I'm excited to share it all with you.
So long, 2025, and congratulations everyone—we made it!!
Mr Mxyzptlk, Livewire, Underbroker, The Penguin, Batman, Gray Ghost, Scarecrow, The Ventriloquist and Vengeance (Bane's daughter)
Another Nam Era build, lots more to come. Not as easy to build in Old Dark Grey, so was tricky at this size of 5 wide and colour, but fun still.
First put into service in Vietnam, the M151 played an active part in American military operations well into the 1980s, when it was phased out in favor of the Humvee. Despite its official replacement, the M151 had some distinct advantages over its much larger and heavier successor, like being small enough to fit inside a CH-53 heavy transport helicopter. This flexibility was one of the reasons the U.S. Marine Corps deployed M151 FAV (Fast Attack Vehicle) variants through 1999, in places like Kosovo. It currently serves in U.S. special forces units as a FAV.
Jeff Churill stickers used again ; )
Some of you might have already seen this on J2GOSRS, if not, well you've seen it now. He's basically a combination of his Spiderverse Version and his comic verions, basically his logo is green and some of the black parts are purple. I also modified the capes and scarf so they can fit together, I absolutely love how he turned out.

A whisper through the branches, Toa of Air Hūkeri is unmatched when in her element. Ever-watching sentinel, she scouts the treetops and hides in the canopies, ready to strike down her prey. No one shall trespass the sacred jungle while the guardian of the skies is vigilant.
