Parts have arrived and the Brickmania crew pitched in to help us place close to 10,000 tiles to give it that cobblestone look.
Almost complete. Wait for some big announcements!
Cody did a large part of the building.
Thank you for those who gave your input on which piano to use!
Daniel Siskind's design on the tanks.
Lando made some nice stickers/decals to make the Fury scene authentic.
Just some random mix of modern warfare models I've built a while back, thinking of turning the Raptor back into the version with rear open trailer so it looks more like a Technical..but not for a while.
Updated Robot Enforcer in the middle, I'd wanted to change the arms on the older versions ages ago but nowhere in the UK at the time had the arms you see now available and I wasn't going to order a single part internationally lol, finally got back to it anyway and I've also changed the shoulders to better represent the extra armour on the enforcers a while back. I use these guys as part of sci-if stuff in general away from the film that originally inspired them..because I can 😉
Mad Scientist’s Laboratory
With Halloween fast approaching, I decided to join in the festive spirit and build something horror/steampunk themed. This is the Mad Scientist’s Laboratory.
Initially, I wanted to recreate Aunt Josephine’s house from A Series of Unfortunate Events. However, the house sits far too high up the cliff face, and I felt the only way I could capture it properly would be at micro-scale, which I didn’t want to do. So instead, I built my own version.
There are still several references to Aunt Josephine’s house, including the structure perched on stilts, the round window at the back, and the sharp rocks surrounding the landscape.
I also drew inspiration from concept art from The Hobbit films. I frequently referred to the excellent book The Hobbit Chronicles: Art and Design, which contains a large collection of artwork showcasing the stilted wooden buildings designed for Lake-town. Many of the detailed sections of my house were influenced by these designs.
Before deciding who lived here, I felt the front and back façades were nicely detailed, but the sides still needed something. Eventually, I added pipes running along the exterior walls to bring some character and detail to what would otherwise be empty spaces. Once those were in place, the house started to feel like the perfect place for an eccentric inventor or scientist. To fit the Halloween theme, let’s just say this particular scientist may be experimenting with some form of resurrection…
Thanks for looking, and Happy Halloween!

A quick little raccoon build I did the other day as a present for a friend. Especially happy with the part usage for the tail.
Day 1 of your suggestions.
A couple of days ago I asked FOLs on my Instagram account to give me some ideas for some smaller MOCs so I could practice working on commissions. A couple of suggestions doubled up and animals popped up quite a lot. Seeing as though hedgehog was another suggestion, I decided to strike 2 birds with one stone and bring Gertrude to life. That's her name and it's beautiful. I've only known Gertrude for a day and an half, but if anything happened to her I would murder everyone and then myself.
Didn't have enough pieces to make the muzzle tan and I've only got one black ball for the eyes, but seeing as though if this were a commision I'd have to build it on the computer anyway, this isn't much of a problem.
1. Would I feel fine selling instructions to this if someone had commissioned it? Yes
2. Would I feel fine selling these instructions outside of commissions, ie on rebrickable? Also yes
Instructions for Gertrude can now be purchased on Rebrickable at this link: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-116184/Neon5/hedgehog/#details
To all my haters who say it looks like garbage, take a look at the official Lego version, set 40171 😁
Building instructions for this model are available for free on Rebrickable.
The Stahnsdorf South-Western Cemetery is located near Berlin, Germany. The cemetery chapel appears in the Netflix series Dark, one of my all-time favorite TV shows.
I have already built another version of this church almost exactly five years ago. The scale of the new model is roughly three times smaller, but it comes with some landscaping and happy little trees :) You can find a comparison of both models here.
Despite the small footprint I still managed to include some interior details. More pictures can be found in this album.
This build is also my entry for Marchitecture 2026, an annual building contest organized by Christian Rau.
...for the warmer weather and spring.
Each year, Charlie and I come across newborn fawns at the beginning of June and end of May.
He leaves them alone and I try to grab a shot with the long lens.
This shot was done with my Lensbaby lens which I am enjoying a LOT!
All manual is fun as the lens doesn't communicate with the camera.
This small build was inspired by a fantasy-style artwork I came across online. The piece depicted a small two-storey, sand-coloured house floating in the sky. While I originally intended to recreate that idea, I eventually moved away from the floating concept and instead focused on the house itself and the details throughout the build.
The most prominent feature is the curved roof. This was achieved by connecting 1×2 hinge elements with 1×2 tiles placed on top. Because the tiles sit on the studs of the hinges, they can shift slightly up or down, preventing them from aligning perfectly and helping to create the curved shape of the roof.
This build took quite some time to complete, as I experimented with a variety of techniques and rebuilt several sections along the way. In the end, I’m especially pleased with the small details and everyday scenes scattered throughout the model.
Thanks for looking!
My sixth entry to the Iron Forge 2025! Here, I used two seed parts (mudguard that has only one wheel arch) to create the pockets.
I won't pretend to know a lot about pool, but I know the black ball should go in last, making that yellow ball a tricky shot.. hence the title!
I would have liked to build it out a bit more, but did not have enough of so many of the essential parts...
Alternate title: "I ran out of bright green".
My entry for the third week of Rogue Olympics 2025. The theme is "Backwards", and I used 99 pieces, including 4 that are just used for keeping the thing level when photographing.

This build is a revamped version of a model I created earlier in the year. In the original version, my main goal was to achieve a stud-free look, which meant relying heavily on SNOT techniques throughout the build. I tried to maintain that same aesthetic here, with only a few small areas where studs remain visible.
For this updated version, the main addition is a new spire above the tower section, along with extra detailing across the surrounding landscape and a few additional minifigures to bring the scene to life. The result is a much cleaner and more refined version of the original concept.
Thanks for looking!

My eighth and final entry for the second round of the Iron Forge 2025. The seed part, minifigure head, was used a total of 44 times.
This one was a doozy. Very pleased with how it came out but it was hard work and I maybe shouldn't have left this idea till last!
After a roughly 10 hour building gauntlet, I proudly present: The Iron Forge 2025 Accordion.
Been a while since I built anything ww2 related and with good reason..let's see if the ww2 community has developed in a positive direction..or not.
Thought I'd give one of these a go again after trying many times over the years and never finishing the model.
All purist connections..has a steering wheel too!
I'm building a Bley version as well, probably will have an MG and gear on it, this version is more the basic staff car run around. I might add stickers to the sides in time.
Custom Lego MOC of the Week! Lagertha and her son, Bjorn Ironside @myrdred_the_builder.
Amazing job by @myrdred_the_builder for bringing our custom lego accessories to whole new level with his painting skills! Job well done @myrdred_the_builder

This is my entry for the 6th round of Rogue Olympics, where the theme is "Attack!". As ever, pushing right up against the limit with 101/101 pieces used.

Hurry up Grumpy Your taking longer than it is to fix Facebook Oh and Instagram and not forgetting WhatsApp !
Working on a larger MOC right now, so as a little side project I’ve cooked up a figbarf. Hope you like it!

My entry for the second round of Rogue Olympics 2025. The theme was "Oops!", and the restriction, as ever, is to only use 101 pieces. I used 97 here.
I had lots of fun playing around with different systems; Duplo, Modulex and there's even a hint of Bionicle in there!
I was inspired by FS Leinad's excellent photo in using the Duplo.
Finally, it should be fairly obvious to any fellow builders what moment I've captured here. I know it's one that's happened to me once too often.😅

This is my character from halo 3 when I play online, Yes that is a completely custom Rocket Launcher and battle rifle on his back. I did use brick forge's armor, but it has been modified as well.
The story behind this build is that a clone defector was not affected by order 66 and is now surviving on his own hiding from the empire.

This is a build inspired by mostly flickr builders. The speeder is also my first custom vehicle build, I think it looks a basic and if I were to do it again I would definitely add a bit more detail. So let me know what you think of that!
I also wanted to try a new color palette that have not used before, being dark brown and medium dark flesh, I think it came pretty good.

4th and last entry for round 2 of the Iron Forge. A quick extra build representing the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. In this build I used two different kinds of tooth plates, 4 in total.
Happy year of the rabbit everyone!
Here's the video tutorial:
This item is 100% overmolded from injected ABS plastic. There is no paint and no glue.
I'll have these at World War Brick. After that..who knows?
This is my entry for the fourth round of the Rogue Olympics 2025. The theme was "trash", which I interpreted as "junk food".
As ever, the limit was 101 pieces which was especially tight on this one. I had to remove parts of the shopping trolly not seen from this angle just to make it all adhere to the limitation!
My second build for the Iron Forge 2025! I have used one of the seed pieces, which are mudguards, three times!
I also decided to play around a bit more with editing the photo and the background, hopefully to good results? There's definitely still room for improvement going forward and feedback is welcome! :)

Still haven't got a setup, so I'll be putting things on my room's windowsill to photograph.
Anyways, this is a Flash I finished a few months ago, and planned to apply for the Flash role in the Elseworld story group. However, I decided against it because I couldn't come up with a good villain or a good "elseworld'' feel. Hope you guys like it.
German fireteam I have yet to finish.
Scout, rifleman, commander. Hopefully I'll pump out the breacher, 2nd scout, and mg specialist soon.
lots of neat stuff finished/in the works
posting to IG later tdy.
enjoy
The Wizard is a Barbarian now!
Here is my final submission for the Rogue Olympics 2025. The theme for this one is "class", and I used 101 / 101 pieces. This one was fun to put together, especially the sword, face and beard area. The lower body could have really benefited from another 30 pieces or so!
Big thank you to woomyworld for helping me figure out the background.
Finally finished making my Arctic Warfare Humvee I call the "Snow Cat" which is based on the one seen in the film "Inception" with my own changes here and there. Advice from Mark of Falworth on the tech for snow on the tree's..so thanks Mark pal. Edit by Todd, thanks very much Bud. !your skill always amazes me! Plenty of help and advice aswell..so thanks again..this ones for you! Ski mask heads from CB Joe..great gift..so a massive thanks ; )
Another quick shot, plan on making a civilian version of this with a different cabin set up, defo a personal favourite of my own builds as it achieves everything I want in a vehicle and at a smaller size then I'd managed in previous years/vehicles. Still forgot to put that red light on in the hood that lights the cabin up..oh well another time!
Rebuilt my Ruskie Dshk, looks much better imo. Might have to mount this on a Technical in the future like I had the old one. Fun little gun.
Of all my tech ideas I think that cigar one is one of my favourites lol

Some dystopian figs for today using a pic I took 1,000 years ago (2017). Let me know your thoughts! This is my attempt at self-inspiring to do some more perspective shooting with some minifigures made recently.
Before anyone asks, the visors are old Amazing Armory parts. For those of us old enough to know what these are (OG squad will know), you qualify for a senior citizen discount. I have been collecting AMA for years and really love the parts. Have always been inspired by the possibilities of customizing and/or using them on minifigs in their original state like this.
While we're on the subject, if you have any AMA you're willing to part with, let me know! ;)
Trying to get another post in this week! Peace guys,
Jesse
Here's my custom display for the LEGO Mini Bonsai Trees.
The idea is to make the display glass look as water, without casting much shade on the display underneath.
The display case is from Brixter:

Fun little build! My UN forces needed a new armoured car so i went with this as i've always liked it's shaping. The build is 6 wide and has room for 3 figs with posable steering.
I don't see very many of these made in lego and after starting to build it i realised why lmao. I would guess it's due to the complicated sloping all over and hatches that open in difficult ways. Window area is smaller on the real vehicle but this was the best choice at this scale while still wanting internal details like a steering wheel etc.
There will be upgrades to this later on like always.
Hatches all open...and close of course. 2 on the hood, 3 on the roof and 3 opening doors in total.
Bit of info on the real vehicle
