Similar to U.S.-made Safari but produced after manufacturing in U.S. was shut down. Serial number CB8924735 (1970s). Made in Portugal. Type segment says "Select-A-Type" — Select-a-Type element attaches to a holding block at the typing point and makes character impression when hit by a regular typebar when its key is pushed. (This contrasts with Smith Corona's Change-a-Type system which involves replacing an actual typebar and keytop.)
