This pair of steak knives were commissioned as a wedding present. They are made from Silver Fox razor blade steel with brass liners and Rosewood handles. The straight edge allows easy sharpening. They are hardened to 57 rockwell. I supplied them in one of my new wooden presentation boxes.
Credit to mikkey1268 and ~KAHLER~ for creating their customized Vectors, they were inspiration to me :)
I preserved Mango's faceplate for the moment with guava's scalp, but probably not for long! I have almost finished custom No.2! I just need her chips, lashes and to paint her lids....oh yeah and to wait for her pullrings to arrive!
She is a quirky looking girl... there's a limited but interesting scope to neon orange hair, as you can see I wasn't very adventurous! I have big plans for pink haired custom no.3 though :D She won't be sweet and cute like no.2!
Thanks so much, Lirije, she is totally stunning!!

Dr Sae Franklin using a custom-built robotic manipulandum in an experiment to understand how humans control their movements.
Sensorimotor Learning Group (Wolpert Lab)
Movement is the only way we have of interacting with the world, whether foraging for food or attracting a waiter's attention. Indeed, all communication, including speech, sign language, gestures and writing, is mediated via the motor system. Taking this viewpoint, the purpose of the human brain is to use sensory signals to determine future actions. The goal of the lab is to understand the computational principles underlying human sensorimotor control.
The group use theoretical studies, computer simulations, human experiments to examine the basis of skilled motor behaviour.
