I got my custom order of printed bricks from Brick Sanity today. I'm very pleased.

For clarification - The Hobbit book and Starry Night can be ordered off of Brick Sanity's site and the two Changeling book tiles are custom requests.

Its always interesting to look back on old figs...

I did update my Joker again:

I repainted the cigarette and painted on flesh color on the face.

2018 Joker:

The hair was sculpted.

The jacket is paper.

Everything was 100% painted by me.

Now Wong was one of my favorite characters in Doctor Strange and even though I not quite fond of his costume in this movie and would prefer if he had more green but I wanted his look to match that of the official lego version of Strange, Mordo, and the Ancient One. I wanted to capture what Wong would look like if Lego made an official figure of him so I didn't go too crazy in terms of the arms and the legs.

This was a rather quick custom, I did it in just one day, but it still was pretty tedious because I used an Iron Man torso and I had to get all the printing off. Fun tip for those struggling with getting printing off legos, just use a pencil eraser, it may take some time, but it gets the job done!

This sweet girl came to me "lightly" customized and normally I don't work on dolls already modified but she was very gently carved so I considered it and took the challenge.

Her base doll is a Miss Sally Rice translucent Blythe, and she is very happy to be traveling back to Spain to reunite with her mom again soon! Hope you all love her!

(Eyelid art was not by me)

Look.

I made a thing.

Well. I've been on a rehabilitation (three weeks) because of my scoliosis. (Not because of any alcohol or drug abuse. Just saying because many people associate rehabs with this kind of thing? In Germany, we associate it with gaining muscles after an accident for example.) And the summer vacations are almost over. (Le me is super curious and excited about getting a new French teacher, hahahaha!) I know, I know, I had plenty of time to do doll stuff but the summer heat sort of makes me feel down, annoyed and uninspired. (Summary: I truly hate summer.)

Yesterday I was in the mood to take a doll pic and just randomly put a veil in front of my lens. I think it created a beautiful hazy look.

My custom #68 is already on her way to Virginia, here in the U.S.! She is a sweet girl who's base doll is Seeking Apelles Takara Blythe with a haircut.

Don't be deceived by her quiet demeanor, this girl can have wise things to say just at the right moment and she's excited to join her amazing dolly family!

I hope you love her as much as I loved creating her! <3

I feel like this custom has an understated innocence and elegance...in a monster sort of way ~______^

...for buying Lambie an airline ticket, giving her my address and showing her how to find me. I know you would have loved her and kept her yourself, but you did what was best for her by spiriting her away from your boisterous demonic clan! Lambie and I thank you both, deeply, from the bottom of our hearts. WELCOME HOME LAMBIE!!

This tastefully modified Ford coupe carried two of the visitors to the memorial for Spike McMurtrie, an avid car aficionado and one of my favorite people. Spike passed away on September 19, 2019.

Custom Airborne using the torso of Thunder. I figured he seems like a logical choice as a Steel Brigade leader.

One of the Steel Brigade troopers in the background is also a custom, I swapped the arms with the ones from my childhood Spirt (that broke long ago).

Just an image of some of my custom torsos from my last build for a discussion on Eurobricks.

I've used sticky labels and an inkjet printer. In an attempt to solve the mis-match between the same printed and Lego colours, I've cut out the matching colour and just applied the design on the reverse of a torso. It's still not perfect, but I think is better than the mis-matching colours I had previously.
